Its a great idea for the 20 yr olds that commit crimes and are given a slap because they are consider minors. As for alcohol, continue to leave it at 20 or raise it to 21.

You talk too much.
He is serving life now, and death penalty would have put some scare into the rest of the foreigners here in Japan. I believe Japanese courts have done their part as well as what was done by the United State Navy. Being a former service member, they handled it appropriately.

The burger isn't all that, they recently opened one down near the Yokosuka Naval Base and it tasted like crap, the prices are extremely high for a meal, having it your way pretty much means nothing to them. I asked for bbq sauce and was told it was only for the buger. What if i want bbq sauce with my FF's?! Pissed me off......either way, its alright...not too much to talk about....also going to put this out there, don't see BK lasting very long for the second go around.

I plan on having the "mish-mash" of english, japanese and spanish in our home come time the baby is born.
I see it as something we should all be doing, I plan on learning more japanese because of my child. Kinda got the problem HD has; read, write, but speaking is a whole different thing. I try my hardiest to find the words to use without looking totally lost. I've been told many times over, my japanese is jouzu.....but I shy away from compliments knowing that I've only barely scratched the surface.

Sad story, but did the parents even notice their son never came home from dinner? I would have been on the phone calling somebody, his friends parents....hopefully they can find the person(s)involved....i've seen the keystones find hit and run drivers before...
