Hurray for a true Japanese period actor! He's been famous in Japan for samurai films even before the Last Samurai. Now, maybe people in the US and other broadcasting countries can appreciate his qualities too.

OK, so he loves his children very much. I wonder what kind of a husband he was. I wonder if he knew of the Japanese law. He wanted his kids but minus the wife. Yeah, he's worth our rallied support. Everybody stand up for this guy.

I like the marketable, yet endearing concept ...but I can't identify any Cinderella motifs in the designs!?!?

Homelessness is a worthy subject for discussion ...but she is NOT looking at him! By looking at the pavement, she is almost 3 feet in front of him and she would have to be turning her head backward to be looking at him. She is looking at the white paper on the ground.

Very helpful to the US economy as tens of thousands have lost their jobs in recent times. American automakers should think similarly and stop running their factories in Mexico and move them back into the US.

Great business move! More Japanese corporations should take advantage of the changing times.

Sounds like the deal was handled responsibly. However, I am not sure if it's a good idea to simply buy more banks with the 9 billion dollars. I am no investment or economy expert, but if it were up to me, I would do some serious evaluation and re-organize the corporation. It's better to adjust some of the corporate objectives in light of the financial times, rather than "buy! buy! buy!". Sounds like the greed is still there.

Another skeptical commentary: If Uncle Sam can be trillions of dollars in debt and still function, why wouldn't the the investment banks think that they can pull it off too??

I think that Biden could have crushed Palin and humilated her, but he was very kind and generous. His mannerisms showed it. But if he DID crush her, my point here is... ultimately, she might win more people over to herself. "Oh! She is so かわいそ~~!!"

On a different note, McCain is not the that much of "maverick" compared with Bush (chuckle). McCain is the intentional maverick and Bush is the unintentional maverick. I don't mean to be be insulting here ...I am just being a little silly having some fun as I wait for my flight in Narita hanging out at the Yahoo Japan Internet Cafe.

On a serious note, what the current situations of America and the world needs is NOT a "maverick". How much of mess can we allow to happen?? ...The word of the cyber-moment here is: "haphazard"! I think if people can't see that, they might have serious denial issues (intellectual dishonesty?!?!). ...It's very clear to ME. What America and the world needs is a President who will see things as it is and make the best decisions accordingly in a-partisanship. This may be impossible. But I DO think one candidate is closer to filling that description more than the other. I write these words on the wall of cyber space... Objectivity... Judgment... Decisivenss... Character...

My father speaks Japanese and Mandarin and he says that... Mandarin is more difficult in the beginning, while Japanese is more difficult in the advance levels.
    Bong! ...enlightenment.

Does anybody know how many Toyota's in the US are actually manufactured in US factories? Another interesting question is: Does anybody know how many of the GM cars are manufactured in Mexico?

this also allows for remote control of the desktop, although we have no idea why anyone would do that rather than just walk into the next room and sit down at the desk.

It would be convenient to access the desktop when applications are going through processes like printing, downloading, or virus scans.
