Since 1885, surveys of the Senkaku Islands had thoroughly been made by the Government of Japan through the agencies of Okinawa Prefecture and by way of other methods. Through these surveys, it was confirmed that the Senkaku Islands had been uninhabited and showed no trace of having been under the control of China. Based on this confirmation, the Government of Japan made a Cabinet Decision on 14 January 1895 to erect a marker on the Islands to formally incorporate the Senkaku Islands into the territory of Japan. It happened unfortunately in the same year when Japan won Sino Japan war and took over Taiwan, which stimulates Chinese nationalism.

Unlike the media, the most politic bloggers are supporting Mr.Ozawa and blaming Mr.Kan for being manipulated by the bureaucrats. At least Mr.Ozawa is aiming for bureaucracy reform, media reform and governmental financial reform.

I watched this match on WOWOW. When she took the second set the audience gave her a lot of applaud. In the third set Kuzy regained momentum again whereas Date kind of lost power.

I know there is a public bath near Imperial Palace where joggers can store their clothing in the locker. After running, they take a bath, drink cold water, change cloths and go home by subway.

We see it as more human disaster. 1. Agura Bokujo intentionally neglected the outbreak. 2. Farm minister and administrative didn't take swift action against infection prevention.
Although, much bigger problem is that the media didn't cover the info about Agura's involvement because of its alleged political connections, possibly Souka Gakkai and Yakuza as well.

I don't know whether we can really learn something from Edo Period about recycling. Anyway, we have already solid recycling concepts like zero-emission or reduce, reuse and recycling of resources.

If Roddick hadn't missed 4 set points in second set tie break for taking 2 set to null lead to Federer, Roddick would have won the match. What a shame for Roddick !

Manami Konishi (30 yo) doesn't appear that pretty on the picture, but actually very attractive. Aya Sugimoto is already 41 yo, though the real woman. Other ones are just young and cute.

Congrats to three medallists, especially Yu-na Kim with the world record. This is the first worlds title ever for Korea.
Asada however had never missed the podium in the international competitions and it's the first time she didn't make to the podium. Apparently she wasn't fit for defending the title.

I would rather believe that majority of Japanese can't spend a lot of money even they want to because they don't earn enough money for that. Many of them don't save any money for the future.
