Exactly, where theres money to be made, not surprised Yakuza involved, if people don't realize obviously its either a fad this year of Yakuza wanting to act like they helping citizens out for media gain lol, or they working on something behind the scenes as usual and this is only covering it up to make them look good. They love to help but guaranteed in the future there's a price.

Theres a drought, i've only been watching one or two good jdramas rest are pretty borringg or romance cliche same as korean dramas. I think it just depends on what you like though, if your the romantic or action type especially want find much, but the flood of Korean action dramas in the past months (Poseidon, city hunter, killer k girl ) were pretty good not bad...Just to much time on their hands i guess or jealous of the kwave lol. Waste time hating something...live your life its to short...and over some dang dramas come on...each his on person shessh lol.

Don't know what type jdramas you been watching get off that mainstream train, i've seen plentiful good ones compared to sappy crap kdrama repetitive romance, only time this year kdrama had good action was athena and city hunter and now killer k girl which is sadly only a mini 3 episode.

Sex sells, exactly as earlier comment mentioned. That Mini skirt police group, just the word mini skirt is basically what most wear and attracts people or well men. Same as Korean girl pop groups such as SNSD popping up wearing low cut undergarments screaming gee gee baby in tennis skirts but music not so appealing, gaining better exposure over the greater talent, its the cute factor I guess.

Actually I saw a movie about that not to while ago, and the police protected the family of the boy who was the murderer! How odd..isn't supposed to be the victim being protected? But hey..different culture then America, hope that justice system will change one day.
