It's not sarcasm at all. We keep hitting the biggity big boo ya with our fund, up over 470% this year. We, as hedge fund managers, need the primacy of the US dollar. Bankrupt the US - great! I'll make another 1000% on that.
Biggity, big boo ya. Another house for me on a tropical island. Just to let you know, I buy 2 or 3 each week.
No troubles with Aruba, mate. I have seven beachfront houses there. Love the place!

Profit taking? That does not even describe what we did today. $2.3 million taken home for our fund in one day. Offshore with no taxes. We are licking out lips for the short opportunities coming up as the Nikkei is about to nosedive.
Man, it's sweet to run a hedge fund right now. So sweet in a predictable market.
My nickname is Arbs - I own the arbitrage.
They don't have enough valets for me and mine. We are biggity, big boo ya in this market - crushing everything in sight. We can only hope the US keeps giving more bad news and shorting opportunities.
Biggity, big boo ya. Models and bottles.

buddha4brains, that is a good point. The demand is with Mexican-Americans and illegal immigrants. As you hint at, we need to crack down on these people in order to assure America's moral hegemony.

No! What is want is the primacy of the US Dollar. Or, the Dollar. It is what we need in bonuses to ensure that the US remains in power. We do not need or want a buffer currency, as no one will benefit from this aside from maybe Aruba. What we need are bigger bonuses and better private jets. We are the best and the brightest, and it is our duty to earn alpha for ourselves. Clients be damned.

Geithner needs to be replaced by someone who will help Wall Street get back to what we do best: getting sweet bonuses. This guy is a joke and cannot help Wall Street. We need Paulson back, or else Mike Milken. The US Government should be subsidizing the best and the brightest. I got a $2.1 million bonus last year and this year is looking lower. I need my trips to Baja, Bali and my escorts to keep the image up. The US Government, as the primary shareholder of my bank, needs to give me that money. I have earned it.

In other words, radiation doesn't kill you. The guy survived two atomic bombings. That makes me wonder about the people who supposedly didn't survive one. We need to take a closer look at whether or not their lifestyle influenced their demise.

This is pretty much baka. A web server needs more processing power than what an iPhone has. It might work in a few years (months?) but not now.

injapan,
I hope so! Imagine the savings and lack of whining/crying/complaining. There would be no need for real women at all, except to do some housework a few hours a week.

I hate to say it, but I think they have other cases to focus on at this point. The police are not here to protect Nova teachers on a lark.

Brainiac,
It's fine on a news story, but not on the top page. It's a graphic photo and I should be given the choice whether or not to view.

Agree with seesaw and zaboomba. Not appropriate for the top page. Might be ok as part of a gallery with a warning that some pics are graphic, but not good for the top page.

It's a market issue. If hospitals don't have enough doctors on had, they cannot take more patients.

Because Australia does not fund an empire. The American debt is a direct product of funding an overseas empire. Since the election of Kennedy, and including the election of Obama, the American public has made it clear that they are in favor of funding an overseas empire while being the world's police state.
I think Brunobear is right - the issue with US banks is nothing that some interest rate changes shouldn't take care of. The problem is that the best and the brightest at the banks have our hands tied by a US government that insists on maintaining a military empire. The focus of wasteful spending should be on defense spending. It far dwarfs any bonuses handed out with taxpayer money.

bamboohat,
Yes sir. 100% dead on. And don't forget that these democrat politicians now expressing fake outrage received hundreds of thousands of dollars from AIG in campaign funds. They owe their jobs to the firm.

The blame lies with the Clinton administration, not the best and brightest. Those who tied the hands of the money makers will be blamed by history.
