People keep asking "Where did they find a cicada this time of year?". The article clearly states this happened in July. Plenty of cicadas in July.

Reserve AKB48 for entertaining young preteen and teen girls, for them they set a good example; but for the world to have to see them might be an embarrassment. I say for at least part of the ceremony, send in the best EISA performers from Okinawa so that people can hear and see something nice about Okinawa.

Never negotiate with terrorists, exterminate them. They don't play by rules and neither do cockroaches. Time to get out the can of RAID.

Yes, drugs are really bad but execution for drug possession, production, transfer, sale just doesn't make sense. Don't get the logic. If the death penalty worked, then why are their still drug issues in these countries? Life sentence is more like it.

I used to get stacks of them, now I get very few of them. People don't even use e-mail anymore, everything is via Facebook or LINE. The some thing goes for Christmas cards. I sent out over 20, I received 6. A real shame!

Wow, very sad news just before the holidays. Back seaters often are more at risk of serious injury or death than front seaters. Terrible. Rest in Peace ladies.

Schools are unbelievably cold - even here in Okinawa. They leave the windows open all day with strong winds blowing so hard, it blows the posters right off the walls in the hallway. Their excuse it "change air, change air". That is okay, but should only be during cleaning time and right after lunch (which basically is cleaning time). Windows should be "cracked" open but not wide open all day long. This is why kids get so sick among other factors. Keep the bodies warm.
