Left home at 13 to attend school and came home for summers. At 21 left for good, college into the army. Next five years cut off from all family ties. What a Wonderful time that was - drinking 55 pfennigs stein of German beer!! I will never forget those wonderful years. YUMA - leave your folks. Get out and see the World when you are still young.

Shame on you. You use to bitch about the Chinese eating dog meat. Guess what, the vast majority of people do not eat or condone eating whale meat. The Japanese are good at eating out of existence tuna, whales, dolphins and one of these day we will not see whales in the ocean.

Why oh why would you dole out cash to farmers when they couldn't even feed the populace of Japan?? The Japanese consumers are ready to buy cheaper food stuff from other countries. The Japanese producers of fruits, vegetables, and meat products are niche marketers. They only create small amount of stuff the average Japanese consumers cannot afford. It is time for the Government to cut ties.

Why the sudden interest by China on NK nuke program? Because Japan just took a decisive step in defense of its survival. Japan may just decide to take out NK if it is threatened.

This is what happens when you go to prison. Prisoners can keep on eating runny curry, bathe once a week, or buy the things you want from the prison commissary (?) and pay to bathe more than once a week. Welcome to your lovely home.

What a waste of islands just sitting empty. Mr. Abe, I suggested before that you should put in a coast guard station and weather station on the islands. Make use or loose it. First with booths on the ground wins the contest. Maybe you could make a nice airfield for the US Marines. The Chinese are grabbing everything around them. You know it, they know it, and before you can blink, they are going to land their naval marines on those islands.

Sounds like a tired song. He should've cashed those US Treasury checks for the Gitmo base lease. He has only to blame himself and the Russians for the sorry economic state of Cuba.

Everybody spies on their friends and foes. I just wonder why people are "amazed" that is happens. Folks, spying has a long, long history. Many friends spy on the US. It's another game to be played.

The Pacific rim countries should not have included Japan in the TPP. Japanese agricultural lobby has a strong hold on the politicians and the government protection enjoyed by the farmers, ranchers, the brainwashed citizens will not allow a level-playing field.

First to set booths on ground is the big dog. How are you going to get them out of there? Japan is too late to do anything. Mr. Abe, you should put your own oil/gas platform out there. You show no back bone, China knows this.

I take shower before going to work and before I hit the sack. Sometimes, three times a day especially in the summer.

I will continue NOT to travel on JAL. It has been my experience since the 1970s to observe JAL's unhealthy culture and most employees' haughty attitude towards its guests. Their superior attitude just grates on my nerves. It doesn't surprise me that management tramples over it employees..

He is old enough to know better than carry a stranger's bag on an airline. I seriously doubt that he was given an all paid vacation for nothing. He knew it was not a straight deal. I have no sympathy for him.
