Mark my word, this is just the tip of the iceberg. Japan is a third world country now. You can bet your Yen that mislabeling seafood will be next. I wonder if that was real big eye tuna or was it a sailfish I ate last night?

So, how much Yakuza money is tied-up in Japanese government bond? It wouldn't surprise me a bit if they decided to get into government financing.

You did good Taro. Got to bring more awareness to the dangers of Fukushima. It is a time bomb ready to go off. You know deep down the TEPCO and the Government is still covering up what is going on and going to happen. The pride of Japan at its best.

Pretty soon Mr Watson you won't have to worry about the whales. The Japanese will eat them all up until there is none left, what will you do then?

No one should be "shocked" by this revelation. Yakuza are into all facets of Japanese society, you just have to look harder. One of the biggest yakuza graft is in political campaign funding. It goes thru so much layering that it is hard to detect. No big shocker with Shinsei Bank; others will follow.

Part of the Russian government's statement of "...principle of presumption of innocence." WOW!!! I bet all those folks in Russian prisons are wanting their presumption of innocence.

Well, is sure sounds like typical Japanese accounting practice enjoyed by major companies in Japan. I don't think one can find an accurate financial report on a Japanese companies. If you ask three accounting firms to perform a separate review of the same company, you will and I will guarantee, three different outcome.

Cry baby!!! JAL still expect the government to give them everything. Well, you better start earning it or you will end up in red again.

It's all about GREED. Import cheap rice, mix, and sell it as expensive Japanese rice. Got to give those greedy merchants profit motive. Wouldn't surprise me if radiated Fukushima rice is thrown into the mix. Have yet to see any radioactive rice destroyed, have you?

Mama's boy is crying AGAIN!!!?? The stuck-up, nose-in-air, airline (?) need to compete with the rest of the us. I remember the time when sugar daddy threw tons of money at JAL and the pride of Japan, after deregulation, went into a tailspin and bust. I guess they still think that they are the state airline. JAL will probably crash land again.

Just because you have an economic treaty doesn't necessary mean it is a good thing. Your commerce will be dictated by TPP and you may not have the leeway you enjoy now. This plan is the way the US wants to dictate how, when, and where you can do business. Watch your step.

Thank the gods JAL didn't get the majority of slots!! Crying in public confirms my belief that JAL will always act if they own the air rights in Japan. Remember a time when those stuck-ups wouldn't talk to regular passengers coming off other airlines at Haneda. Well let see if they can compete in the free market place when they are no longer supported by the government.

Why would Japan even consider building anything on Iwo when the island is not stable at all? A listening post would be better supported on Ogasawara Islands.

Here we go again!! Teacher should be fired and never allowed to teach again. Why can't the Japanese school system, the police and the school board learn from previous incidents? If I were the parents of the students, I will surely insist that he be fired.
