  :) oohhh anger anger. If I had possession of a book that means nothing to me it is hard to tell what I would do with it!!!

  Might have been his thinking as well along with the radicals of this religion being the cause of some or many of his friends getting killed..

  I do not se no big deal about it and in some ways do not blame him for his actions. I would say many are very pissed off over there on both sides, especially the Islamic extremists which there is no shortage of, hope that isn’t including anyone here……..

  skip .. maybe there needs to be a change in teaching kids about all that you mention since this is reality of life. Interracial marriages and all. Kids see this from birth, don't they? So should it be just ignored and keep kids dumbfounded until they learn for themselves? Why a kid with a black Mom and White Dad still are black or even why they have two parents of different race?? Do not teach them that this is the real world?? I do not see the change being pushed, but only the truth acknoledged.

  skipthesong The kids that are adopted.. That is baseless... Take into consideration adopted kids that are found in cages and beaten by their adopted parents... I very much disagree with your view on that.

  Also if any wants to go strictly to the bible , then who has the right to judge another???

  No one has the right to judge another and that goes with the basic gay issue itself. No one living by the bible has the right to judge anyone. We are all judged by the all mighty and it is a sin to past judgment upon another. So where are these peoples faith and practicing of religion.. I tell you where it is at, thrown out the window when one believes they can judge another.. Just pure hypocrites!!!!!!

  Friendship is give and take, not take take take. US and its allies work on a friendship of give and take but more inportantly on mutal trust because of openness.

  And yes Ossan, I am with you on that statement above. hahaha

  China has changed and not really a commuist controlled country?? lol

  hey lets go protest what our leaders have done and are doing.. Yeah right.. Only in China we can openly do this.. If that was the case, then yes china has changed.. but it has not changed and no ones propaganda is going to change that.

  As long as China continues to be communist rule, they will gain no trust from anyone as we are witnessing by the military realignments and closer partnerships with allies, such what has been going on with between the US and Japan and now finally S. Korea’s turn of leadership friendlier to the west as China continues to grow. .

  So any friendship with China is a false friendship from both sides as we watch the positioning of everyone with arms and closer combined military closeness to counteract China’s build up. Friendship?? That is a joke!

  Putting up with and preparing and waiting for hopeful change in China,,,, that is more like it.

  what ever side one stands on with the war in Iraq, who knows the actual reality for the invasion of Iraq, there has been many many reasons given, as for out openness or leaks and notions. A couple I could support was the treatment of its people as we have seen with mass graves and executions and also a southern staging point if ever a confrontation with China again a position I could support, what I did not support was oil...

  As for Bush and the war I , from the very beginning seen he and his administration had no credibility with running a war and for many reasons and situations that took place in the very beginning, one most important was a cease fire in tora-bora that let bin laden get away and then what is war.. those that are allies and those that are enemies that are against you.. that is al-Sadr from the start, he was against the US and it was war, he should have disappeared right at the start as he was an enemy. He should still disappear or just say Killed! Bush and his crew was totally unable to carry out the war and he is incapable of winning it and he has proven that to the world and to me! He has been incapable of being a president and he has proven that, many times as well with what the country has fallen to, economically and politically

  Now let us see how Japan goes... I am hoping the message still comes forefront about the host country and the truths that are of that country.. Why should the truth be disguised? That helps no one, especially the people of China themselves. As we are all well aware of, China’s changes came from outside sources and not from the honesty or goodwill of its leaders. And I am well aware that statement will not go over well with the play of nationalism we are seeing, Seems like it’s the” Peoples games” all over again just as we seen with Germany…geez sort of scary to see the correlation come to light. Does this not also reveal the same sense as for dictator’s picture rise about all in public settings and places of public gathering as seen in other regimes that are of forced rule such as N. Korea, Saddam Hussein, Stalin and the rest of the mighty and so thought of themselves as gods..

  So is it true the Chinese torch protectors will not be allowed to protect the torch as it goes throughout Japan??

  I hate to say it but there is no people in the world that want foreigners to come into their country and tackle and take ones own people down to the ground whether it is protecting an Olympic torch or what. Especially it being some goons from China as many around the world sees them as being.:)

  As for nationalism, I must admit it is normal and will continually come out from the Chinese people around the world whether their government in and of China are killers and communists that have and still today suppressing the peoples rights as human beings. This is just the nature of people and love for ones country. No one wants to hear anyone describe their land of origin or the land they live in as a country of disgrace and I am sure many of just decent from Chinese immigrants have a hard time dealing with that themselves when born and living abroad. That does not change the facts and the truth about China and it does not make others see the Chinese people that feel they must stand up for China and its leadership, be seen in a positive light, because it does not change the way foreigners see China as a country and it does not change the feelings of disgust and also regret when seeing Chinese people supporting a country with such rule of force by their leaders and seeing those in such celebration as a stance of support for those that suppress and permit others the ability to suppress others in other lands. At the same time those that are seen celebrating have only gained over the last 20- 30 years by those that are protesting China’s stance on these very same issues being protested today because the people of China did not come to this point on their own and only can and should understand and acknowledge the help they receives from these outside sources.. Of course the mental conditioning from such rule has denied them of such recognition of others that has forced the Chinese leaders to allow what restrictions that have been lifted at this point in China’s history,, again the nationalism aspect running its course.

  Again lets not forget the reasoning behind awarding China the Olympics... to promote change!!!!!!!! Well needed change as we are seeing with the internal or so called internal policies of China.

  I do not know China, people are brainwashed outside of China. I think this is completely oposite of the facts. The people of China are those that are restricted from news and events within their own country because of the self censorship by journalists and news organizations because they know the end results of what would happen to them if reports are not up to the regulations and censorship standards of the CCP. You do not agree with this statement??? Yes or no?

  This is just of the last 24 hours of what many want the world to stay blind to.. I do not know China…. or is it that you do not know China or just wish to keep a blind eye to what China is about when it comes to what leads the people in thought and mind with in China?

  The truth is that the leaders of China are a bunch of goons and thugs and it should have already happened that the people of China come well aware of their demise as a society. The society of China has been shaped by these goons and thugs. Jack Cafferty hit this nail directly on the head. This is the truth and many know it very well but are afraid to come out and say it openly, but it is known well around the world. News does not come from one source and the sources are not ganging up on China as you wish to try and project some scenario of such. Facts are facts and when we look at China we look at China by taking into account the facts that quietly are stated and addressed by commentators, rights organizations, independent agencies and government officials from all around the world that also have the intelligence reports handed to them from within their own security networks. It is not all just ganging up on China for the hell of it, it is trying to establish the facts of what China is inside. Like the outcome or not, it is the truth based on facts not some view seen through some rose colored glasses. All that does is empower those that are keeping the people of China under thumb. It is very displeasuring to see the outside always being the one to bring good to the people of China and those that live it have to stay silenced with out a voice. That is what I see as PETHETIC! Is that the word you used?

  When the topic is China and denouncing anything about China, we are talking about China and its suppression of its people across the country and within the country. When speaking of the US and western nations it is fine to bring up invasions and matters that affect others around the world but it is not about the acts against their people within their own nation. The fact is that China is seen as the leaders, as Jack Cafferty described as goons and thugs, against their own people. If some people in China are satisfied without having a voice in their future, all fine and good, let them support those that only tarnish the image of their country by supporting the few that rule using brutal force among other things. To the outside looking in, China's leaders are goons and thugs as reported by Jack Cafferty and it is a shame those here(in this post)that wish to further China as a world leader can not stand up for the dignity of the individual Chinese themselves.

  But again if wanting to look out further than China, we could look at Dufur, and others China stand with on the issues. Seems like all stances when it comes to the leaders of China is about human rights abuses and the sponsoring and support of
