"The sermons were mostly about the importance of performing the five-times-a-day prayers in the mosques"
I wonder how anyone will fix anything they promised if they spend their day in a mosque praying.
" and women having to cover their faces and dress in loose clothes"
Hawkeye: there will be no raise. Just people fleeding if they can and the rest kept at bay with executions and other barbaric demonstrations. The West is not coming soon to help them. They don't want to give a boost to Assad. Only Russia has been 'helping...'

What is the strategy from the West here, now?
Get Assad deposed and then try to deal with IS? Another foreign invasion maybe?

Once there are installed and have destroyed everything, this is going to be really hard to do anything...
Countless lives wasted for nothing better...
I say bravo...

“People denounce me, saying ‘Rubbish, rubbish,’ but these days relations between Japan and China have become worse,” the man says. “If a war were to break out, what would Japan do? It would need resources like raw materials, right? In such a situation, this stuff would be useful!”
He should enter politics.

I wonder how, if anyone get the money, get hold on the money and how they are going spend it.

I fly radio controlled planes and helicopters. I also own a small indoor quadro-copter. There are places to fly them and responsible enthousiasts do it away from people. This stunt is going to ruin the fun for many if the government starts to put restrictions on them.

“No matter what means Japan adopts to publicise its mistaken position, there is no way it can change the fundamental fact that the Diaoyu Islands belong to China,” Hua told reporters at a regular briefing.
DID belong to China. Fixed it for ya, Hua.
Now they are Japanese. Old texts from old dynasties are relevant. Last time I checked, China lost the ownership of them after the first Sino-Japanese war.
