That is going to be fun to watch.
That said, someone getting on his knees and pray to a fairy in the sky when making decisions should be in the fun house, not the senate.
One can pray James Randi runs this time.

If it would have been a parent, I would probably have sued to get things changed and prevent this to happen again but yeah, there is the 'sh-t happens' factor.
This is maybe a dangerous trend where everyone sues everyone for monetary compensation.
I'm surprised the court let it go through....
I find it a bit far fetched...

If China was able to develop to her state is because:
So much money from the West was invested
Many Chinese got their education in the West
Why is it that people with power and money still get their education in the West?
Is it that evil? Of course not.
As usual with dictatorship, such rethoric is to assert control onto the have not population by the have it all small club.

The revisionists have a Streisand effect in their hand.
The more noise they make out of it, the more people are aware of such atrocities and other people trying to whitewash history.

"The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry (METI) reprimanded Benesse and ordered the company to improve its data protection systems and strengthen oversight."
There is nothing you can do against unscrupulous employees, whatever the education you give them.
I have access, like many people, to confidential or privileged information but it never came in my mind to steal and steal that data.
The plaintiffs should sue the data thief instead while Benesse shared also the blame.
