Smells like a false flag to me. Demonstrators, backed by the West, would know that the West wouldn't back terrorist movements. RIP to the victims. Whatever the responsible party, they are victims.

    just-a-bigguy: anti-European sentiments?

Did you people see how Angela Merkel , the iron lady of Germany who was a former GDR national and she has strong resentment over comunist country....

Did you know that if Europe and the US would go bankrupt or even if the consumer market slows even more, China will have riots because nobody would buy what Chinese workers are producing every day? China is being careful.

The European union has no reason to exist anymore besides a myth of european unity!

Back to the village and tribe mentalities. Frontier, restrictions on movement of good and people have no reason to exist.

What is a cell phone drama?

stuff that are so bad they don't have a chance on TV ( which mediocrity level is already high.) So, they reduce the length, image quality for cell phones...

Don't tax the riches. They can take their money away. Instead, tax the one that can't easily move their wealth in fiscal paradise.

I don't think there is a Japanese conspiracy behind this. Yes, Japan would like to handle their problems by themselves but yeah, it goes beyond the "no shoebox, no contract". Japanese have building codes too. If some company provided crappy shelter, all posters above would be ranting against the Japanese government for not having checked. Put some water in your wine. The Japanese society is not prepared to events they haven't been trained for. Add foreigners on the top of that. Having Japanese companies knowing how things work, building codes would have been way easier for the government to handle. Still, I would prefer a shelter without a shoebox and no shelter at all.

I like YouTube very much but many times, it is misleading titles and many most rated videos are just crap with massive thumb down count. YouTube should add statistic about thumbs up vs. down in their suggestions.

Gingrich will win the primary, take the fall and retire. The fruits are not ready to harvest for the Republicans.

SushiSake3: Ironically, it was Newt who was going at Clinton tooth and nail.

Come on... They all kind of have skeletons in their closet (inside tradings, lovers, fiscal evasions, etc).

Just a bunch of kids fighting in a sandbox for the shovel that would run a country... The level is really low...

Cletus: I don't think the US will be crazy enough to put boots on the ground in Iran or this is going to be a slaughter. Just want to keep the straight of Hormuz opened. "Surgical" bombing here and there to keep Iran far away. Iran will not stand a chance attacking US ships but tankers will be at their mercy. Trying to sink anything coming by is the best strategy on the Iranian side. No tankers, no oil.

I don't think the Tohoku earthquake disruption had anything to do with the slump in sales or at least had minimum impact.

The industry was already suffering sluggish demand after state subsidies for the purchase of environmentally friendly vehicles ended in September 2010.

    Here you are.

Also, the yen continue to rise and maybe people would prefer saving for rainy days or take the opportunity to go overseas instead of buying a new car now.

The price of new car in Japan won't change while traveling in the rest of the world has never been so cheap.

I don't understand all the fuss people have for him as being the new CEO on this forum.

He has done his job as revealing what happened. I still wonder if he would have done so if he hadn't been fired.

Was he really the best one to bring back Olympus? Note that investors lost a lot of money when the share price went free fall.
