Iodine is accumulated in the body. Some people way before said that cesium is not accumulated in the body so there is nothing to worry but digestion doesn't take just a couple of minutes. Not to mention that if you keep ingesting cesium, you maintain a radioactive source in your body. Also, it should be noted that the food chain is a cycle. Cesium will come back somehow in your body.

One should note that when the First Amendment has been created, it was an era of civilized gentlemen. Violent video games and pr0nografy didn't exist or wasn't as accessible as now (who can get an election with paintings those days?). If you don't want to expose your kids to that, living in woods is the only solution, maybe. I am all about freedom of speech. Freedom of speech is essential but I think the Founding Fathers had the morale in mind to decide what is acceptable or what not.

They bomb not because of their religion but because it's easy and they are cowards.
They can't convert people with reason so their only resort is violence.
Still, with the number of Muslims, Christians and other religious groups living together, there would be way more terrorists attacks.
Sectarian violence, all based on books written by people many centuries ago.

Spidapig24: Give an Afghan your way of living. Ask him/her which they would prefer. Better, go to live under the Taliban regime. You'll be back. It's hard for me to see in which condition they put themselves. After years and years of war, I guess anyone would accept whoever if they bring stability. But at what cost? They had nothing to begin with. I agree that the West is hypocrite.

The Taliban brought stability through terror. Ask an Afghan about what type of beard he was required to grow, ask him about entertainment.
They had an infrastructure before the Soviet invasion. To be destroyed successively by the Soviet and the long civil war. Ask an Afghan about the water supply and eduction.
The Taliban didn't bring infrastructure back. When the coalition invaded Afghanistan, there wasn't much to be destroyed.
Logs from the soccer stadium in Kabul have yet to be found.
The Taliban regime is one of the worst regime human created for themselves.

Spidapig24: Yes. It is going to be bad again. The only freedom Afghan had was between coalition bombs and suicide bombings.

The sad thing about Afghanistan is that after countless dead and injured on both sides, the Taliban will come back and regain power. Bin Laden is dead but was it worth? The withdraw is the inevitable conclusion. I dare anyone tell this war was a success.

Because a scientist told you that a great built-up energy has been released, you should not worry about earthquakes and tsunamis anymore? Next could be Tokyo, Shizuoka or any other parts in Japan. Keep you emergency pack ready, sleep away for anything that could possibly fall on you, leave exits free of any obstacles. Better safe than sorry.

paulinusa: The second infinite monkey theorem states that a monkey hitting keys at random on a sampler keyboard for an infinite amount of time will almost surely type a given score, such as the complete works of AKB48. At least more plausible than the first theorem. Where do I get monkeys?

To be fair with Japan, not being prepared with such a nuclear disaster may be excusable but not being prepared for the tsunami is unpardonable.

“She is standing up for women around the world, sexually assaulted, who are too afraid to come forward.”
Yeah, right... Once it will be agreed to exchange a large sum of money against prosecution and lawyer getting his share, that sentence repeated over and over by other lawyers would again mean nothing.
