I'm glad he wasn't taken alive, and if President Obama ordered him whacked, I don't have any problem with it.

We've had several of these killed and badly beaten after similar encounters.

It doesn't matter what someone with a mike in front of them says. Of course Bin Laden was a Muslim. He was a Muslim of the Wahabbi sect outta Saudi Arabia and he had over a hundred million Muslim fans.
These same guys wanna see me dead whether Bin Laden's still breathin' my air or not. Of course he was a Muslim. -Silly to say or believe otherwise.

I didn't vote on this thing because I don't particularly care one way or the other on the subject.
I believe lots of folks have short attention spans and have to be constantly entertained. Whether they realize it or not, for a great many it's just another spot of something to pique their interest for the next four minutes.

I think Bin Laden's bein' wrapped in a white shroud and havin' Muslim prayers said over his body was done to placate Muslims who aren't at war with everyone else. -Doesn't bother me, and Bin Laden's past carin'.
The chairman on the committee on Homeland Security says he's seen the death photos and they're not too gruesome. He mentioned, for example, a bullet hole over one of the eyes and that folks should be able to handle it if they're every released.

RoninGaijin, sorry you didn't know what 'NBC' stands for as someone took a kind moment to explain it to you after your post and I'd taken off.
Millions upon millions of those who serve or have served in the military know what it means. Civilians who actually follow the war on terrorism and can reasonably speak on it know what it means.
It kind of surprised me when you said I used an 'obscure' acronym. Instead of using the high schooler's urban dictionary, you may want to use an adult acronym dictionary, many of which are online. I just now found 'NBC' readily available for you.

The chairman of the Committee on Homeland Security said on national TV today that waterboardin' Sheik Kalid Mohammend provided the first lead to Bin Laden's courier.
Common sense tells ya waterboardin' can work. And if you have the time and resources to check out what comes out of it, so much the better for checkin' its validity.

wanderlust, the CIA did not build up OBL as a hero although we did support other mujahadeen.
OBL didn't want any CIA support and didn't take it. He used his own wealth to buy and bring in weapons against the Soviets.
Saudi Arabia took away OBL's citizenship and sent a team to kill him in the Sudan. They almost did it, and that's where it's rumored his kidney problems began.
Saddam hated OBL and the hatred was returned. One was a secular Muslim and the other a 'religious' one.
Wow.
