Who do you think should be next?

I've already posted my choice if he didn't get whacked at the same time as Bin Laden.

It appears that poster was correct. Bin Laden sleeps with the fishes.

Sushi, you're confusin' a largely visual TV empire with what you refer to as your 'newsreadin' manga.

If you don't know what 'NBC weapons' are, I'm not equipped to bring you up to speed.

    Moderator: Back on topic please.

Sushi, I didn't push for war, but I supported my government's decision once they went forward with it.

And you're wrong, Sushi. 'This war' began well before 2000 and 1.

This war will continue long after anyone remembers you and I once existed. Or have you a plan to make disappear all the NBC weapons on the planet and the worser ones to come? Have you a plan to change the natures of those born psychopathic. Ain't gonna happen... Wouldn't be prudent to even consider you or anyone else can achieve this.

    Burial at sea?

If that's true, then we didn't follow the usual Allied policy of provin' to the masses that these guys are truly no more.

Sushi, some folks are gettin' some face time on TV.

Everyone I know is sittin' at home, takin' it in, and settin' their alarm clocks for another day at work in mornin'.

If you think what's been goin' on year after year has been about Bin Laden - all those lives and billions of dollars you keep talkin' about - then you don't know what all of this has - and will continue to be - about.

GDubya, no, I'm sayin' that Bin Laden's death in April 2011 changes nothin' concernin' the war and terror and how it will continue.

Of course, Allied and enemy targets and strategies will evolve/devolve, but this 'War on Terror' was never just about Bin Laden. Whether we bagged him or not, the war goes on. Now that's he's bagged... the war goes on.

I'm glad Bin Laden was killed. I hope that Egyptian doctor was standin' next to him. No matter. The war goes on. It will continue long after you and I have assumed room temperature. May the good guys - that's the Allies - significantly win much more than they lose. Much, much more.

That's right, Toddo. Business as usual will continue with all the ups and downs that come with it.

No reasonable person believed before, or believes now, that Bin Laden's death changes anything.

Islamofascist recruitment and murder of their own and others goes on as it always has. Doin' nothin' as some would have it, changes nothin'.

(Side note: When Islamofascists kill many of their own, the world is quiet. When a Jew kills one Arab or Palestinian, the world is outraged. Go figure.)

Sushi, aren't the Allies concerned that the lads at Gitmo are/were? playin' for OBL's team? I'd say a significant number of those lads we've been takin' in from European governments and Southeast Asia have somethin' to do with OBL.

    No, Sushi?

zurchromium, Bin Laden found out from President Obama that if you're not with him, you're against him. I like this cowboy of yours. I heard he upped the number of troops goin' overseas in *his war and the number of deployments they're gonna do.

*Hey, if President Obama is 'the one' who took out Bin Laden, then it also figures he owns everything else he's doin' (now for over two years).

At least the U.S. government is doing something about terrorism. What are you doing?...not a single damn thing!

If I may join the conversation between you two, that as for me, I'm postin' early and often in cyberspace. Folks can't say I'm not doin' my part.

Sushi, now aren't you glad that of the many pre-election promises that Obama quickly broke, the promise to close Guantanamo 'in one hundred days' was among them?

When did the 'War on Terrorism' become 'The War on Bin Laden'? I musta missed those JT Olympics headlines.

I hope that Egyptian doctor got bagged. If not, he probably moves up to Number One on the Allied hit list.

(Lemme know if someone in OBL's circle collects on the $25 million-dollar reward money. Was that the correct amount?)

Well the US helped Osama Bin Laden achieve room temperature last week. I figure anyone who was standin' next to him when that process began can be written off as "shouldn't have been there in the first place."

    Cheers.

    Sushi, we'll see.

You've and other doomsayers have said we were bust before and here we still be.

You may want to look at your own little world.

GDubya, think of it like this... We Americans have something called 'social security'.

None of what wage earners contribute will come close to payin' what they'll take out of it. Kinda like a Ponzi scheme with better intentions, but a Ponzi scheme nonetheless.

Wisconsin public union members should kick in as much as corresponding non-union wage earners if not more . People aren't supposed to join public unions to get it better than the public they serve. That's nutz.

GDubya, of course taxpayers pay for almost all of their healthcare and pensions.

Dya think the pittance these particular union members pay even begin to cover their healthcare and lifetime pensions?

Of course taxpayers pick up the near majority of these tabs.

yabits, check out both American liberal and conservative polls and you'll see you're wrong. Really wrong.

Don't you yourself believe union members should contribute more to their health and pension plans the same as their non-union fellow citizens?

Over-compensated union thugs and parrots speak of 'rights'.

Yabits, what 'rights' are they in danger of losing?

'Collective bargaining' which benefits some union members but not the taxpayers is not a 'right'. Federal workers don't have 'collective bargaining' because it's not a 'right' and they make out very well. Extremely well.
