Obama's got his game on, alright!
Time.com had some great observations about his foreign trip. He had a lot of people working and planning things out well ahead of time, people with the connections that McCain didn't bother with. Now it shows with huge crowds and meetings with all the…

Likely, Japan will have to have its own version of the Brady Bill. As in, people will have to wait 7 days when purchasing cutlery before they take it home. Perhaps even go through a background check.
The Brady bill is supposed to stop people from buying a handgun just…

I would go a step further. Walter Mitty imagined himself as everything from doctor to spy, but Cosplayers fixate on one particular figure from someone ELSE's fantasy.

I agree with OssanULTRA, the ban is a "feel good" tactic to appease public sentiment rather than an actual effort to deter crime.

In a perfect world, we wouldn't need to worry about that. In a truly peaceful world, it would be possible to take a leader to court for any misdeeds.
But the…

Ok, let me guess how the plot might go.
The school hires a young foreigner ALT (male or female) who starts going out with the students. Someone gets pregnant or gets STD's. thus the teacher has to give advice about what to do.
Although Fukada says its about human relationships,…

Oh yeah, I can just see it now. You're playing Metal Gear Solid and the character, while sneaking along, must now pause (along with baddies) to admire some banner about coca-cola for 10 seconds before play can resume. Talk about annoying.
Or worse! You want to get to the final…

This disgusts me! One of the reasons I came to Japan in the first place was that at least here (when I originally came) teachers were respected. Now its just like the States.
Everyone wanted Japan to be just like the States, now it is. Metabolic syndrome kids and juvenile…

As reported by Fuji TV; the highlight of the summit (According to the British Contingent) was Bush's birthday.
In other words, the summit was little more than a 3-day party with photo-ops.
