I would agree that such a person is delusional, or at least ignorant of molecular biology. Perhaps you can provide more details on what sort of person believes that "random carbon atoms suddenly decided to form bacteria"?

While I believe a global ban on all religions would be the best thing humanity could do for itself, I think that scap's point is a fair one. Respect the traditions of the country you have chosen to live in - don't expect your environment to change because you can't (or won't) adapt to it.
Of course, respecting the traditions of the country you have chosen to live in seems to be beyond the capabilities of many foreigners living in Japan...

Why is it that the japanese themselves, as well as this author, seem to think of "Japanese" as a race and not a nationality...it was discovered that "Japanese" is 70% Korean (ouch, that must hurt), 20% Ryuku and 10% Siberian.
Debatable, but then why why do you the define Korean and Ryuku and "Siberian" (?) the same way? I highly doubt those are "races" either and of it also begs the question as to the genetic make-up of those people. You seem to forget that these people also came from somewhere else too.

Utter nonsense of course, but no more so than the many posts already made here trying to prove that the Japanese are an inferior people. As always, the truth lies somewhere in the middle.

Japan doesn't need them under today's security environment and as long as there is a US nuclear umbrella. If either of those take a turn for the worse, then it would be time to think about them.

Fact is that when military aircraft from a hostile nation are flying near your borders, any country will scramble its own aircraft to approach and intercept as a matter of course. It used to happen all the time north of Alaska when the US and Canada intercepted Soviet bombers flying towards or near NORAD airspace, still happens sometimes with Russian bombers. It is less "harassment" than giving the appearance of threatening another nation's airspace, as these NK jets were doing.

But they are pretty cools pics, esp the Apollo 11 one - from the shadow it's obvious something man-made is sitting there. The great thing is that they are still vague enough for the conspiracy kooks to rationalize it all away.

Nonsense - that may be the average dwelling size for an English teacher, but in the Tokyo metropolitan area it's 80 sq m per home, which translates into 850 sq ft.
