Friday I stopped by the Toho Cinemas @ Kabukicho to check availability for some Star Wars tickets. They were completely sold out for Friday and Saturday shows already, and I barely got my ticket for Sunday afternoon. If you are planning to catch the movie on opening weekend in Tokyo, I suggest you get your ticket as soon as possible. I doubt that you can can casually walk up to a theater to get a seat on opening weekend, or even possibly the opening week.

It was strange for them to schedule the Hakuho and Harumafuji battle so early. This match should have been on the last day, Sunday. But after today's victories, it did raise the drama level in this tournament.

He did way more damage to that poor guy than was announced in this article. I saw those horrific photos on the news last night.

Oh come on Charlie, you're lying. Who in their right mind is willing to have sex (protected or unprotected) with a partner knowing that the person is HIV positive?

Sagami Lake Forest is not even close to Tokyo. In fact, it's an hour outside of the city and out in the country. You can enjoy both the stars and the illumination lights there.

I was heading down to Shibuya until I saw the Live coverage on the news. It couldn't have been much fun when you are packed in like sardines. No thank you. Friday night looked much better to enjoy because at least you could have walked around.

That accident looked horrific on the news. When they turned the car back over, you can see a lot of blood on the exterior of the front end.

I don't think people realized that he was in two separate prisons from this article. He should have learned his lesson the first time after serving time in India for 18 months. Apparently he was not very good at drug dealing.

@djv124 I am not one of the bashers. I don't mind them at all because I have been living in Tokyo for quite some time. I was just saying the Filipinos will turn against those groups who lips sync too much. Their taste in music is a little more sophisticated because of the high talent level in the Philippines. Besides they prefer American style of music (such as Pop, R&B, and Hip Hop). I would only expect them to make a tiny ripple in the music industry there, because I doubt anyone over 18 will follow AKB style of entertainment.

This project will fail in the Philippines because they have plenty of talented singers who can actually sing well. There is no need for a bunch of cute girls who can only lip sync.

The nicest smoking area I ever encountered (if you consider them nice) was up in Roppongi Hills. I walked down some steps into this open viewing area to get a good picture of Tokyo Tower, then I realized that whole section was actually a smoking area.
