The nicest smoking area I ever encountered (if you consider them nice) was up in Roppongi Hills. I walked down some steps into this open viewing area to get a good picture of Tokyo Tower, then I realized that whole section was actually a smoking area.

Thank you Strangeland. Some people seem to forget that Japan has it's own film industry here, and they have limited movie theater screens to show everything. Guess what movies they plan to show first? In fact, some American releases never make it to Japanese theaters at all, so we have to wait for DVD releases. On another note, Keanu comes to Japan often, and at times you have the opportunity to see him walking on the streets and riding trains. He is well grounded and try to be normal as possible.

It was interesting to watch the news yesterday, where this reporter was torturing all those poor women on the streets of Tokyo by giving them the breaking news. Those had to be the loudest "EEEHHHHH" ever recorded. I bet you could have knocked them over with a feather after receiving the bad news.

Maybe they should offer free "Tenga" with the purchase of Pepper to avoid any potential problems. Google it, if you don't understand.

Wow! Lost nine fingers on a previous climb and still attempting to climb that beast? I am curious to see how he manage to climb the toughest mountain on Earth with such a difficult handicap. Glad he made that decision to turn back. It's better safe than sorry because they don't bring down the dead bodies from up there.

RIP to those poor souls lost on Mt. Ontake. If you get the chance to hike in Japan, there are no strangers up in the mountains, because we are all family on the trails.

If the top Japanese wrestlers get passed Mongolian Terunofuji in this tournament, it's possible they can be the first Japanese win a tournament in about 10 years.

Mount Aso has been active and off limits for quite some time. It's closely monitored and the activity is nothing new for the locals in the area.

They just rescued two residents with their two dogs stranded on a rooftop. I was a little stressed watching it Live on TV. So glad they made it.

It's worth every cent. I haven't been there in about 4 years, and today I still can feel the impact of my visit to that museum.

Did he design that ugly jacket he wears on television? They need to scrap that wrinkled piece of cloth as well.

MTV started off back in 1981 with it's first song "Video killed the Radio Star", but today it seems like the Video Stars have killed the music.

The Sagami Depot is just a military storage facility filled with Warehouses and Railroad Boxcars. If you ride the Yokohama Line between Machida and Hachioji, you can see this facility from the train. It's not hidden. Not sure if the explosion happened after the last train or not, but I am quite sure some people got a good look at this blast.
