Too late, I already seen the prices of many things jumping at the first of this month. I thought they were charging me the new tax until I looked at some bill, and noticed it was a price hike. It gets higher next month again.

I believe this is the third article I read this year involving a police shooting at a fleeing vehicle, and each case there was an injured fellow police officer. Once again, if you use a vehicle as the weapon against the police in Japan, they will shoot you.

Not only that is a horrible accident for the victim, but also for the co-workers who witnessed the incident.

That accident has been a real mess all day today. I had some friends stuck down in Kawasaki for 2 hours. And that was late Sunday evening around 6 pm.

Wow that's very unfortunate, especially when it was probably the last trains scheduled to run at that time.

It's a great show to watch, in fact I am a big fan. The quality of the singers are very impressive, and they pick very complicated Japanese songs to perform. Some of the contestants are professional singers back in their home countries, so it's not a random karaoke contest. There are other singing battle shows to watch, but this one is very unique. I am proud of Chris Hart. Gambatte.

This is the second incident in two weeks where the police was forced to shoot someone in a car. They shot and killed a guy in Tokyo on New Years after he stole a taxi and went on a driving rampage. If you use a vehicle as the weapon in Japan, the police will shoot you.

Good job capturing this creep, but it's strange that police is going through a lot of trouble of trying to cover his face while they bring him into custody. We already know what the guy looks like from all the news coverage.

If I am not mistaken, when I was watching the news I noticed that one of the products contaminated was a package of frozen hotcakes. I just wonder who did the pesticides get into that meal.
