What's really sad is that they leave the bodies up there. There is no risk for recovery.

I was home sitting on my couch watching the Sumo Tournament. As soon as that big guy got knocked out of the ring, my walls starting shaking very hard. I didn't realize they hit so hard. Strange timing, but it did look like his hard landing caused the quake this time.

I was attending a birthday party yesterday in Nakano near Shinjuku and I noticed a low dark cloud. I watched it for a few minutes and told my friends that this could be a possible tornado cloud back home in US. Then a few minutes later we caught a hail storm with about marble size stones. Later when I found out one touched-down, I was shocked. I hope Ibaraki recovers fast from this tragedy.

Joss Whedon has an excellent track record on making these kind of movies and television shows for comic book fans. I was very excited to hear that he was directing the Avengers movie. I am looking forward to the August release date here (yep....long wait). Maybe they will show it earlier on the military bases. I'll have my friends watch out for me on that. The commercial teaser spots on Japanese TV don't give much much info about the film, and I don't think the Japanese people knows who are the characters involved in the movie yet. But I bet the buzz will increase with the later advertisements.

This is so rare. I was attending a birthday party yesterday near Shinjuku and I noticed a low dark cloud. I watched it for a few minutes and told my friends that this could be a possible tornado cloud back home in US. Then a few minutes later we caught a hail storm with about marble size stones. Later I was surprised to hear about the tornado in Ibaraki.

Its funny watching the news now.... this guy looks like he is holding on a telephone pole for his dear life. I am curious to see him in a real typhoon.

When I first time I saw the commercial a few weeks ago, I didn't realize it was Richard Gere playing the old guy. I was too busy laughing at the kid who saw the whole thing.

They have been running the same scam to the elderly in the US for years. Usually they claim its a grand-child being arrested abroad and he needs money to get out of jail. I hate these sick scammers taking advantage of the elderly population.
