Wow! Grouchy!!! So you've got all these credentials and yet you grace us with your presence and vast knowledge. How do you have the time? Ok, well this is not a Physics or Chemistry science forum filled with your callibur of thinkers, just a bunch of average joe's and julies speaking their mind thanks to JT, so ease off the lady. She's entitled to her opinion. You are way over the top in attacking her. The Hydro 4 gas add ons she's talking about is going through some grueling tests as we speak. And as for H2, yes, I studied chemistry in college. But if we were to just compare testing data availible on both as you suggested in your lab. I am sure the NTSB has vast more data on the deaths caused by that explosive gem called gasoline. Yet compared to the data availible for Hydrogen. Gosh..how many people have died as a result of hydrogen explosions? Yet the US uses millions cubic feet of the stuff injecting it into various products after its stripped from Natural Gas. Not too many saftey issues reported there. Like I have always said this is a way smaller problem then we incurred putting a man on the moon. We just have to get behind it fully.

    Taka..Agreed...

somehow people in Japan think that because a ship is powered by 2 small nuclear reactors, that there are also nuclear bombs on board. Guess we should start looking for Japan's Nuclear bombs at some of their 55 Nuclear plants...

Williamsmith......all joking aside,,, the first Rambo movie did more to bring to light the issues of returning vets and their treatment than virtually any vietnam related film to date. It highlight the Post tramatic stress syndrom and discrimination heeped on them after the war. I think all you guys should go back and watch First Blood. Pay attention to the way the Sheriff treats Rambo in the first 10-15 minutes. Then you'll understand what the hundreds of thousands of Vietnam veterans feel.

Normally, I am all about privacy issues, but I have to go with the B team on this one. Public figures always scream that want privacy in their lives while craving attention in the public spotlight. Ok Cindy McCain is not Madonna. But I think with all the financial scandals that H.Clinton and Co. had, we deserve to know a little bit more from Cindy than Its my business. Sure they decided a long time ago about this, but its doubtful they dreamed of the presidency on their wedding day. See we are talking about the highest office in the USA. The most powerful person in the world. His/ or her spouse will have a great deal of influence over a broad range of issues. (Reference Clintons in office). Cindy will be the first lady and all the benefits that implies. But lets also look at it another way. If you plan to go to work in the Whitehouse for the President. Say you get hired, before you can even be confirmed, you have a have a Top Secret SCI clearance. Which simply means, you get a full and complete background check. The FBI looks at your credit, tax returns, medical history, and who you have associated with in the last 10 years. Thats just part of it. Now given that, don't you think we should know a little bit about who sits in our public offices and who and what kind of persons have influence on them? Most of us, wouldn't care if properly cleared personnel looked at out tax returns. God knows I have had to freely pass them around the JGOV. So I have to think that like most rich people, they don't want you looking at the their tax returns, because the press will investigate every line and every entry.

What does democracy have to do with the subject of rape? Rape is prosecuted in non -democratic states as well. And who made this ridiculous statement? 'The Americans wrote the constitution and they should be blamed for the spread of violence, drugs and crime. All of this is imported." Yes, Macarthur's staff wrote the Japanese constitution and as soon as the occupation was over, succeeding Diets and legislated it away. Blame the Diet for lack of fair treatment under the law. In the US, the Constitution is interpreted by both letter and spirit of the law, not merely rewritten without public conscent.

Caught on Security camera? In the actual toilet area (Bengo?) Isn't that an intrusion into privacy, and a little peeping tomish? Same and the shoe cams the upskirts guys use?

I think so, I love that movie. Japan was still pretty tore up at that time, but the film showed the beauty of the culutre and the country. And it showed the typical American and Japanese rule about mixing races at that time after the war.

to do his utmost to tighten discipline among U.S. service personnel by ensuring ‘‘unwavering professionalism’’.

The problem is not with most of the servicemembers here. It with some of those that have just arrived and those that will come in the future. I wish someone would put Gen. Rice on the spot and ask him what he's gonna do to get commands back in the states to take the Ocerseas screening seriously. Whats he going to do about revamping the OCOT policy. He and his predecessors have been BS-ing the Japanese Gov for 2 decades on this issue. We'll do more to tighten things up. What I learned my Navy experience is words are cheap and easily disemminated by the officers. But actions costs.... make it happen General. Stop lying!

That was the nicest thing one could do. Think of all the wonderful memories those students will have. Who knows, maybe one or more will go on to become professonal dancers.

It is if she showed up with out the press cameras....maybe the photo was submitted by the school later. If not, its a publicity stunt....

When is Jackson going to learn acting?

She's a nut case, but a pretty good actress. Poetic Justice was a good example.

I just don't get the attraction. Is it a lack of choice that draws people to Obama? "He's got a vision." But no plan.(neither do the others). I am afraid people are getting sucked into Obama and the rhetoric like they did with Kennedy. He was an incredible inspirational speaker, but he had no plan and no experience. He flubbed our foreign policy for the first 2 years of his presidency. He got credit for avoiding war with the Soviets, but it was his perceived weakness(that sent the message to the Soviets) and lack of credientals (so thought Khrushchev) that got us in the Missile crisis in Cuba 1962. I see Obama as the same way. He will spin around trying to learn how to be President and all that implies for his first 2 years, making a lot of mistakes and then have a strong finish as he gets into his groove. He will get a pass because he is America's first black president, but Can we afford to wait for him 2-3 years to mature in the Oval Office? If he turns out to be a racist, and a closet Islamist. It will be 20 years before America see another black President. I think we have far better examples out there in the Black community who would act more in line with how Americans feel and represent Black America more accurately.
