Yes these "new" employees have a life and don't want to sit in the office until midnight or go drinking with their stinky oyaji bosses. And these old gits, who have given up their lives for their companies, just don't like it.

I expect the girl filmer enjoyed the sausage display! But really what a fuss about nothing. They didn't attack anyone, didn't rape anyone. Just aired the unmentionables. So what, leave them alone.

Now they can give a nobel prize to ANY scientist because he/she might invent a cure for cancer one day, give a nobel prize to ANY economist becuse he/she might solve all the world's economic troubles someday etc etc....
The nobel prize has become a big joke.

I read Mein Kampf off the internet. Very interesting, a piece of history, nothing more.
Posted in: The banning of Hitler's 'Mein Kampf' may have been justified in the early years after the war, but now we have a totally different situation. 'Mein Kampf' has no magical qualities. It is a badly written book, but it offers a deep insight into Hitler's thinking.

Training in some good self defence martial art skills is the answer. Make you strong in body and mind. Why don't they teach self defence skills in japanese schools?? There's nothing more important than that. You have to be strong to survive. Don't take s**t from anyone ladies.

So if I've got it right, from next year visa holders must show proof of health insurance for renewal but most teachers work for companies that refuse them insurance?? Even though it's a legal requirement. Why the hell is the japanese government not cracking down hard with fines/prison time on these law breaking companies?? I guess as foreigners can't vote they don't give a damn. Looks like things are heading for meltdown next year.

The only people who become english "teachers" are the desperate and otherwise unemployable. How could the english industry ever be in good shape?? Anyone with a modicum of self respect or intelligence would be doing a proper job. Now if the english teaching industry were to only employ properly qualified teachers and paid them a decent salary, that would be a different matter.

Most western foreigners in japan are short termers ie they stay less than 3 years and probably are employed just as english teachers. So naturally they are not concerned with their rights/dignity etc. This is not surprising since mostly they come to japan for cash and girls. Naturally they are against or indifferent to Debito Arudo. Just reading this thread illustrates the point.
Debito is fighting for the long termer who may well be a permanent resident, have a japanese wife and kids and a proper job/career. The short termer and the long termer are very different animals in their perspective.
