This modern trend of reporting what sportspeople and celebrities think of major world events (even worse when we have to read "so and so tweeted blah blah blah) is one of the things i really don't like about what our culture and public life is become.

employees will just get squeezed more.

i love tokyo but singapore isn't that boring. note also depends heavily on what you eat and how you travels and so on.

Jeff. you are kind of right but just because JGBs and Yen are seen as a kind of safe haven (deflation, low unemployment and low overseas ownership of debt), once the worm turns we will very quickly see how sustainable over 250% debt is.
I think the point is that there is little point raising taxes to (allegedly) help reduce the debt burden and then borrow more.....

Is no-one tired of these geriatrics re-hashing their old songs?
WakarimasenDec. 05, 2013 - 11:46AM JST
No. Just imagining what a casino in DRC must be like. all the games are likely rigged (i doubt there is a regulatory body in country where millions have died in civil war), linked to crime, full of hookers and lowlifes. that's all. His actions of stealing taxpayers money and burning doen the embassy would be just as despicable in Central London.

i think this prurient interest in this type of thing is awful. How the media can force disclosure over the objections of parents who were affected by this is byond me. Where is the public interest in doing so? What opurpose does it serve?
