The local "daily" wines are disgusting - although possibly to taste buds weaned on shochu and nihonshu and awamori they taste ok. Plenty of good wines have screwcaps (most of the NZ Sauvignin Blancs and Pinot Noirs use them - and other grape varietals in screw cap bottles are increasing…
