Tkoind. Nice sentiments, but if Oshio has already shown he is a selfish and irresponsible person, why inflict more of him on the rest of society? Who is going to make sure that while he is out there "doing good" he isn't taking drugs or sleeping with hookers or lying etc? It a tragedy that this girl died from taking E (if it were legal she might not have gotten a bad pill and might still be alive) but you have to admit that the way the story reads all of the particpants don't seem worthy or respect or sympathy.

I said that they come across as losers. By the standards of society they are probably on the winner side of the equation. Actor, hostess etc. He won't volunteer and won't go to Afghanistan. and even if he does, how is that a good thing? You think the Afghans want him or need his assistance? Afghanistan shows respect for human life?
Moderator: Readers, no further references to Afghanistan please.

I'm with the DJ. All participants in this tale come across as losers. Irony is they are all trying to present themselves as deserving of respect/sympathy/attention.

kauai, you can't be serious. Well, this is a kind of neverending discussion. I find Japanese girls really provocative with their skirts and short pants. I really think that they are looking for problems.
So they are asking for it? And if you were wearing shorts and t-shirt would be ok for some gay perv to grope you?

Get bought by foreign airline. Best would be BA, Cathay or Singapore. Introduce more reasonable fares. And bigger seats.

May be Osama or may not be. But the war in Afghanistan is a total waste of time, money, li8ves and the rest. Will all end with nothing achieved and plenty of damage done.

Makes no sense to 1. announce you are doing this 2. allow porn/manga that promote this as a fantasy 3. cram people on in a way that makes clzsoe physical contact inevitable 4. assume accused gropers are guilty rather than accept some hysterical J-bird might be wrong 5. say this is a disgrace compared to otgher countries (r.g. many have higher rates of rape or assault or robbery than Japan - all worse crimes than a pathetic bloke copping a feel.

See more of this inj Japan than in most European countries. Almost exclusively the men are older. Because have money? Cleverer? Genetics? Or maybe because J men around same age as the woman are likely to be childish, spoiled and no fun.

highway driving in japan is diabolical. hogging the fast lane, braking for no apparent reason. tailgating (but often because of person in front going too slow in fast lane, left lane almost deserted, etc. I would never stop on the hard shoulder in Japan.
