For that price, I'd buy a set of Bose QuiteComfort 3 soundproof headphones, and five cases of Stella Artois to drown out any remaining noise.

Too bad that Nintendo hasn't opted to offer a Skype app to complement and use the built in mic and cameras. Seems like a waste that hasn't been utilized yet.

Wait a minute now - this talk about dimming the lights to save a few kilowatts of electricity. The next crazy thing folks might start thinking about is cutting out the KFC and the Christmas Cake, just to save a few carbon atoms. It's all about resourcefulness not abstinence to resolve problems.
Posted in: Do you think Christmas illuminations should be displayed in Japan's cities this year or should they be canceled or curtailed in order to save electricity?

I can't complain at all about the processing time at Narita, even when two jumbo-jets arrived within minutes of each other. It was one of the quickest airports I have had the pleasure of traveling through. I suppose I have to put in into perspective, as it easily in excess of one hour to clear immigration in the US - even for US citizens. My worst experience was flying in and out of Ben Gurion International - make sure you take a bathroom break before going through customs and security, and expect immigration processing time to be anything but quick.

Past tense - big time. Not sure if "he" (the identity of the individual wasn't mentioned in this article) is talking about what folks used to use this for back in the 1900's (everything from toothpaste, skin ointments, to glow in the dark watch dials), or early cancer treatments. Cobalt-60 has since been used for aggressive cancer treatments for quite some time now.
