When was this article written? In other news we read now that the last refugees have been settled in permanet or temporary housing.
So either the writer is making up things out of thin air, or the article is dated.

That is a weird statement. Shouldn´t they precisely press charges for accidents resulting from items THROWN from a vehicle? However, in this case nothing was "thrown". It really sounds like a freak accident.

I was at home when it hit. It was really long and quite noticeable, but no way it was a seven. Here in central Tokyo the strength felt more like a 3 or 4.

That is so sad. We had something happening here close to our house last winter. Also two small children burnt to death. It is hell for everyone involved... the victims, the mother, the rescue people and the neighbours.

The Toshiba technology sounds like a clever design, and I hope they make it work.

It is about concentration. If they can extract the radiactive cesium, it will be a tiny volume and can easily be stored at an existing nuclear waste storage site.

No. If the math was that "simple", why not pay for all air tickets into japan from our taxes and thus reap an even bigger profit. Unlimited, in fact.
No, this kind of Obamanonics pie-in-the-sky economic idea has no base in reality.
I am glad they scrapped this waste of taxpayer money.

What are you prattling about? I did not say anything about Obama or healthcare, I commented the fact that North Korea demonstrates where socialism gets a society eventually.
Health care, by the way, is nationalized in North Korea, without any influences from evil insurance companies, so following the usual talking points it should be wonderful. Excuse me for doubting that.
