They are showing the crossing on TV now. It is really wide, the roads are straight, open space, excellent visibility in all directions. Seeing that, I think it is a fair bet that the driver was speeding. This is not the typical Tokyo setup where some bicycle can suddenly dash out of nowhere.

    kaketama:

" In the first place, it is the US that began to press forward with hostile policy against Iran, calling them "axis of evil" at 2002, despite the fact that Iran did not develop nuclear weapon at that time(they allowed IAEA to check up their institutions) "

You really should check your facts before commenting. Iran signed the NPT and has since continuously violated it. The IAEA inspectors were deceived for years, it was Iranian dissidents who revealed the degree of deception and the nuclear bomb program which went on under the noses of the IAEA. Iran has not only been developing nuclear weapons in secret, it has been developing them in direct violation of the treaties they signed.

So, they bought the turkey. Lets see if they get it in 2016... I doubt it.

    Mirai Hayashi:

" I wonder if its going to be the VTOL version "

In the previous article about the topic it said it is not. They have ordered the airforce version, the (ahem) "cheapest" option.

There is definitely more to the story than just Indian dresses.

A safe guess is that they did everything to provoke the airline to get kicked out, and then cry foul about it. This desensitization campaign, supported by the Hamas front CAIR has been going on for a while, and it has been profitable to boot.

That is so pathetic. After going on a begging tour to Russia, China, Japan, and Brazil and being laughed out of the office everywhere, these clowns now want the the IMF to bail out their idiotic Euro project.

What kind of "world currency" is this anyway, that has to be bailed out ever week again with ever more leverled loans?

The nations of Europe want and deserve their freedom back, i.e. their national currencies.

Within the next few decades Europe will transform from a christian/secular society into an islamic one. And the world will not be a better place for that. The short-termers who deny that this is happening are simply refusing to look at the logical progression of the trend. In the short term, demographics is nothing. In the long term, it is everything.

Yes! Let Ahmedinejad have his bomb and wipe out Israel. Iran has oil, Israel has no oil. Money talks, morality walks. Japan´s government gets it.

Japan and US wish "stable transltion" From tyrant dad to tyrant son?

I wish for a very unstable translation, ending with the removal of the Kim clan and their cronies.

    Yabits:

" Being that no hardline communist regime has ever made it very far into a third generation of leadership, I believe that hopes can be realized for a reunification of the Korean peninsula "

Yes. On the other hand, one can argue that the NK regime has moved past hardline communism and into the era of an absolute monarchy combined with theocracy... a kind of absolute god-kingdom like the Inkas had. And those lasted for quite a bit.

It is not strange in Japanese.

We will now have to get used to Kim Yong Un, the newest Dear Leader.

He looks even more thuggish than his dad, if that is possible.

I hope the succession does not go well.

If there is a hell, Kim Yong Il will be in it, so from my side it is RIH and not RIP.

    Foxie:

" I wonder if his son will be accepted as the New Leader by the population and I hope that he will change things there. "

LOL, do you think the population has a say in this? However, if the elites that run the dictatorship are divived about the succession, the regime could be in trouble. Lets hope.

I simply can´t wrap my mind around stories like this. My children are the best thing in my life. Sure, 6-year old boys can be annoying sometimes (not to mention 16-year olds), but how in the world can you kil your child? Just incomprehensible.

That liberals criticize Hitchens for supporting the Iraq invasion while at the same time rooting for Obamas illegal bombing of Libya is a hypocrisy that is hard to beat.
