All religions DO have their extremists. But all extremism is not the same. Christian extremists can go to monastery or live on an Amish farm; Buddhist extremists can become a monk in a temple; Hindu extremists can live as naked sadhu.
No such option in islam. Islam does not have the concept of withdrawal from the world; if you become an islamic extremist, you try to change the world into strict islamic place under Shariah.
So yes, those who say that all religious extremists are the same have not done their homework.

Says who? While Sunnis and Shiites hate each other, they share the common goal of jihad against the kuffar world (thats us), and are quite willing to help each other out in that regard. And while Saddam was secular dictator, he did play islamic card with vigor. Remember him shooting Scuds at Israel and flying Mecca pilgrims through the no-fly zone? I guess you have forgotten that. It is absolutely plausible that he would pass chemical or nuclear material to a group like Al Quaeda to do damage to the US.
That is what Bill Clinton tried, and it failed spectactularly. Islamist terrorists are NOT common criminals. In their mind, they are pure and we are dirty kuffars, and they are fighting a noble cause by killing us. There is no profit motive, no "criminal" aspect at all. In fact, for his followers, Bin Ladin is a pious cleric.
We are shooting ourselfes in the foot by pretending the jihad is a criminal problem.

As for the "sophisticated and well-planned", I think that is the Indian government, which would love to be able to pin this on Pakistan, instead of having to face the unpleasant reality of home-grown jihadism among its own 15% muslim population.

How much planning and sophistication does it really take to attack a couple of hotels and a Jewish center and kill as many Westerners and Jews as possible? Seems to be that apart from agreeing on a time, this does not need all that much sophistication, if the participants are willing to die. And jihadis certainly are.

Islam is more than a "religion", it is a civilization, a form of government. And not one that you would want to live under. The word "islam " means "submission", and muslims are obliged to wage war on unbelievers until the whole world is submitted under islam.
That is a profound difference to other religions, which don´t have such a concept.
That most nominal muslims are not jihadists is a given. But that does not make islam like "all other religions". The jihadist messages as promoted by the Muslim Brotherhood, by Bin Ladin, by Zarkawi et al speaks to muslims, not to Christians or Buddhists. And some muslims will always follow it.

So can you name some of all these non-muslim terrorist groups in the World? Come one, it should be easy, considering you think there are so many.
Fact is, Islam is the only religion that considers war on the unbelievers a holy obligation, and even has a name for it ... jihad. (Which we misleadingly call terrorism.)

Because muslims are always the ones who carry out these terrorist attacks. Who do you expect to attack a Jewish center? Buddhists? Catholics?
Get real. Jihadism is a muslim thing, and India has had its fair share of it. It is not like jihadist terror in India is something new. Remember Ahmedabad just a few weeks ago?

Britain is slowly adapting itself the muslims. At the end of the road, there is Sharia for all. Islam only demands, it never changes itself. Same in Malaysia. The Chinese and Indians are not directly living under Sharia, but whenever there is a conflict, Sharia wins.

No. The AQ are just one of many islamic organizations who take the islamic obligation for armed jihad seriously. There are many others, and there always will be. Cowards they are not, and unless they have a particular reason to, they don´t live in caves, either. Stop watching Hollywood and start reading up on the content and history of islam.

No. With all its US internal references, the video is squarely aimed at Americans. The muslim world does not need any reminder to keep up the jihad against the infidel world until everyone is submitted under islam... that is central islamic teaching, so does not need any propaganda videos.
