I will never understand the popularity of these eating contest. I find it pure stupidity, and disgusting on top. If you want to waste food, why not throw it in the garbage right away.

Now that the election is over, the media suddenly find time to talk to him.

Before, they were all too busy digging up dirt on Joe the Plumber.

Amazing bunch of party hacks posing as journalists.

    BBLeo:

" This story is not very clear...“If you don’t come home early, the boy will die.” Where was the mother, was she out? Was father alone with baby? Where was Mom? If he was alone with baby, he couldn't do much about. If his wife was at home, than to avoid such issue, he should go out for a while. Story is not giving enough information, or outlined promptly. "

And just what additional information would make punching 3-month old baby in the face OK, in your esteemed opinion?

Whats a "crime"? Seems to me most of these senior crimes are stuff like the shoplifting they report here on the news every day. Things like stealing some 400 Yen bento because they are hungry. Pretty pathetic and sad, but not a crimewave I am going to worry about.

Good riddance. But there are plenty more where they come from. The message of jihad is taught in countless mosques across the islands.

I am waiting for those "sharp claws". So far, they have been reserved for Republicans; Obama only got swooning and flattery.

And I doubt we will much any claws in the next 4 years. Any lampooning even close to what Bush gets on a daily basis would immediately be called "racist".

The asked for "change", now they got it. Lets see when buyers remorse sets in.

The islamic command to hate and fight the infidels and unite the whole world under Shariah is no misunderstanding.

The misunderstanding is the politically correct illusion that islam is just another "religion" without political ambitions. That the pope falls for this is tragic.

The Arab muslims hope that Barack Hussein will weaken Israel, and they have good reason to do so.

People wanted "change", now they get it. I wouldn´t want to be in Israel now.

    Azrael:

" I am glad the Muslims took the initiative sending such a transcendent letter. "

You should read it before swooning too much. Basically, it was an invitation to join islam. While phrased politely, there is no concession in there at all. It speaks totally from the position of islamic superiority.

It is also typical that a muslim delegation is welcome at the Vatican. How about a Catholic delegation at the Grand Mosque in Mecca? Oops.... all of Mecca is muslim-only. Not entry for infidels. How about if Rome adopted such a measure?

The bombers did not do anything wrong according to islamic law. As the mother of one of them points out: "I feel that killing infidels isn't a mistake because they don't pray." (http://www.jihadwatch.org/archives/023324.php)

" That they don't release it is proof that it keeps the confidentiality of its sources. The Times further claims that it has promised its source not to release the tape. If that claim is true, not releasing the tape is further evidence of its "

No, that is a feeble excuse. Nobody asks them to release the name of the source (and by now, the grapevine agrees that it was Ali Abunimah anyway).

This was not some kind of secret mafia tape; this was an official event, a farewell party... how innocent can you get? On the face of it, there should be no reason for a news organization to keep it from the public.

There is no doubt that the only reason the LA Times is refusing to even release a transcript of the audio of the event is that they don´t want to embarrass their candidate.

People who where there have confirmed off the record that yes, when Obama toasted the ex PLO operative, he dropped his guard and came out with some "honne", accusing Israel of genocide and questioning Israels right to exist. Very much along the lines of Ahmedinejad, who he wants to have unconditional talks with.

And for that reason, my friend, we will NOT see this tape. No way. The LA Times will sit on it, no matter how much that damages their integrity. Trust me.

The LA Times could just release the tape and put an end to the speculation. That they don´t is clear proof that the footage would be embarrassing to their favourite candidate. Unbiased press... a thing of the past.

It was an interesting article until it descended into cheap party politics. Haven´t we had enough of this? There won´t be an end to financial croockery in an Obama government; quite the contrary actually. Why can´t she leave well alone without the cheap plug for her personal election choice.

No, that tells you about the mentality of the crowds. And if that is your measure, you should elect Madonna or Britney Spears for president. Coming to think of that, they also endorse your Messiah.
