    If these women want to box - that's their decision. But they might want to keep in mind what Muhammed Ali has looked like the past 20 years. At least in the amateur ranks they wear headgear.

    @TumbleDry:

    If the earth will warm up rapidly, us, humans, would able to adapt to some extent but the fauna and flora won't since it has to adapt in a longer process. What is a political agenda?

    Not true at all - plants and animals adopt as well. Ever heard of the white moth in England that adapted to living on smoot covered buildings by evolving a new darker color. There was a time when plants existed on the North Pole but after the freeze plants didn't cease to exist. A huge number of plants and animals have evolved and become extinct prior to even the advent of humans on the planet. People need to look at the big picture and adapt.

    The political agenda is the Left's undying desire to control every aspect of peoples lives. Global warming theory gives these people an excuse to micro-manage every aspect of life because energy is essential to modern life.

    It is likely that since President Obama was not able to close Guantanimo Bay that capturing Osama would be a headache for his re-election. So he had him executed. No matter, in the end true justice was done and the head terrorist in the world is no more. I do not normally support Obama but on this very important matter, he made the right call. Let's not forget that this never would have happened without former President Bush's enhanced interrogation policy. Bush gets an equal amount of credit for this success.

    The findings “emphasize the need for greater urgency” in combating global warming, says the report of the Arctic Monitoring and Assessment Program (AMAP), the scientific arm of the eight-nation Arctic Council.

    Why combat global warming? The earth has warmed and cooled for 4.3 billion years. It would be just as easy to stop the sun from rising in the morning. Try adapting - humans have done it in the past and are certainly capable of doing it again. These people are just trying to push a political agenda by scaring people. The average "citizen" of the world has caught on to this scam and are getting tired of it.

    @Yubaru

    And now he worries more because of all the followers of Bin Laden throughout the world are going to try to avenge his death by killing more Americans, and die trying.

    The followers of Osama were trying to kill Americans before Obama had him executed by a US Navy Seal. At least now they have lost their most admired leader and and inspiration for their terrorist movement. His death might be a bit worse in the short run but it is likely that many more lives will be saved in the long run. This isn't an episode of Perry Mason - this is a jihad against Western values and the idea of individual liberty and freedom.

    To all those in the Islamic world who danced in the streets handing out candy to children when 3,000 Americans were killed on 9/11 - I give you a celebration for the death of an evil terrorist. Enjoy!

    secret CIA prison sites in Eastern Europe

    Sounds like one of those black sites that Obama was so against while running for president. Ironically, they have led to his successful killing of Osama.

    Finally! This is a great day! Great job by the US military - especially the Navy Seals. Good call by Obama to go in for him instead of just obliterating the compound with a barrage of Tomahawk missiles. Make no mistake, Obama wanted Osama dead - and ordered a kill mission. I've been hearing that Osama was unarmed so he supposedly could have been taken alive. That would have been a fiasco given the latest flip flops on Guantanamo. It was best to have his trial, verdict, and execution ordered from the White House.

    The US never gave up on getting Osama after nearly ten years and through two administrations. We got that SOB!

    As they say, "freedom isn't free."

    What is happening in Syria and across the Middle East is a perfect example of the Demonstration Effect which can be Traced back to the start of Iraq War and the elections that took place shortly after.

    Global warming isn't a political debate. It's a scientific one

    I guess that's why the lead global warming scientist's used tricks to prove their 'science' and blackballed the publication of the views of scientists with contrary scientific viewpoints.

    But back to the subject at hand. These terrible tornado's over the past week to ten days have been devastating - I have never heard of so many people dying from tornadoes.

    Let's just hope this stupid fixation with President Obama's birth is over with now. He should have released it much earlier just to get rid of this silly conspiracy. Obama is an American - it's just his way of thinking that isn't.

    Fascinating study on human behavior. I have heard that Radboud University in the Netherlands has also received government funding to determine whether or not water is wet. It will be very interesting to see the results of that study.

    @Laguna:

    Nope. They would not. There would be, in most likelihood, a great impact on the environment, but for the reasons stated above, absolutely no impact at the pump.

    I am well aware that those on the far political Left do not believe in the law of supply and demand but despite this misguided Socialist view, supply and demand and the corresponding effect on prices is a fundamental economic reality.

    It is President Obama's goal to cause gas prices to go up - everyone on the Left knows and agrees with this way of thinking. He has said it himself though you will see hardly see any news organization report on this fact. They will not because they - and Obama - know that it will hurt his chances for re-election. Obama will continue to attempt to use the bureaucracy to hinder the development of America's natural resources and then turn right around and go on a PR offensive to convince the public that he is doing all he can to bring prices down.

    As for the impact on the environment, yes increased use of fossil fuels has an impact on the environment. Every and all energy sources have an impact on the environment even the so-called "clean" energy sources. Increased ethanol production for example, is causing a great deal of damage to the environment. What the enviro-extremists always overlook is the fact that increased fuel costs also have a direct and immediate impact on poverty and human suffering - something they apparently are not too concerned about.

    There is always enough money for war. There'd be even more if teacher's pensions and Planned Parenthood abortions weren't sucking the country's coffers dry and destroying the American way of life.

    As long as President Obama is involving the US in the civil wars of other nations that have no national security consequence to the US, then I can see him being forced to spare the lives of innocent living children for the sake of starting up a few more wars to "protect" civilians in the Middle East.

    I think that from McCain's standpoint, he has seen the US President declare that the regime must fall. He therefore rightly sees this as the nations duty to follow through and not fail in bringing down Ghadaffi's regime. Otherwise, the US cannot be taken seriously in world affairs anymore. No one has to like the US, but they must respect it's word. Otherwise, the US becomes irrelevant in international affairs. President Obama seems to be doing all he can to project weakness and a lack of resolve. I find it odd that McCain is trying harder to save Obama's backside than Obama himself.

    So, when does the UN no-fly zone go into effect? There are civilians being massacred in Syria; why is the US and the international community just standing by and watching the carnage. Come on President Obama, if protecting civilians was the threshold for intervention in Libya why not Syria? Or are the lives of Syrians less precious than those of Libyans? What a mess...

    President Obama (along with Democrat allies in Congress) are on track to create move debt than all previous presidents combined. Obama is already the worst president in American history. He cannot lead on economic or foreign policy issues. It should be clear by now to all that he is a Socialist that rewards his favored constituents over the general public. GE made billions last year and paid no taxes! The CEO of GE is one of Obama's closest advisers. Obama has doubled down on the failed socialist policies that led to a large debt even before he entered office. America is reaching a financial tipping point and Obama seems content to just keep going over the edge of the cliff.

    Obama's mislabeled deficit reduction plan does nothing of the sort. It only reduces the projected future debt - well, on paper anyway. Even Europe has been pursuing austerity but America's Socialist in chief just keeps spending and spending. America does not have a competitive business environment and Obama is determined to make it worse. It's almost as if he is purposefully trying to damage the nation. Obama's future for America is very bleak.
