No one should be surprised by Obama's calling the police officer 'stupid'. His mentor for two decades (Rev. Wright) is a racial bomb-thrower, he has been an adherent of black liberation theology, he has rejected the white side of his own heritage, and has nominated a clearly racist judge for the Supreme Court. The President is just surprised that the media isn't just overlooking this like everything else during last years election. Not only is it a fact that blacks and other minorities have been treated badly by the police, but blacks also have been shouting "racist" at the slightest perceived offenses as well. That seems to be the case with Prof. Gates. Gates is himself a professional race-baiter and was likely looking for an excuse to make the claim that all police officers are racist - whether they are or not.

Why limit to 187 new fighters? There is no money in the US Treasury and the government is going to buy 187 of them anyway - just go ahead and contract for the full 380 that the planes supporters want.

A very unfortunate thing to happen during this years Tour. This sort of thing is going to happen given the proximity of the fans during the race.

Why not just answer the questions straight out? The Democrats will vote her on he Court no matter what she says. She could say she is the member of some racist organization (say like La Raza) and that wouldn't make a dimes worth of difference with the racists in the Democrat Party. Wait, she is a member of "The Race" isn't she... I see no reason for her to continue lying and saying that she doesn't base her judicial decisions on the race of the litigants (like in the Ricci case) or that she believes the Second Amendment is an individual right (as all other Consitutional rights are) when obviously she does not. Obama will have his wise - and racist - Latina on the Supreme Court.

It's not too surprising that a racist judge whose legal bonafides are her disdain for white men and fetish for racial identity politics would be appointed to the Supreme Court by a man who spent two decades as a member of a racist church. The course towards MLK's dream of a society where people are judged based on the content of their character instead of the color of their skin has reversed course and has gotten further away from becoming a reality.

It is odd that President Obama appears to avoid his African relatives. It is as if he is embarassed by them. Why not visit his Aunt or his half-brother? Surely they are proud of him and they could definately use his ample ability to provide financial support.

It's amazing how popular Palin stories are on JT. The Left really hates her.

    SushiSake3 says:

......and thousands of U.S. conservates desperate to undermine their country's interests by criticizing the president's every move.

After eight years of American liberals doing all they can to undermine President Bush and his efforts to fight two wars, I hardly think comments like this should be taken seriously by anyone. Sen. Reid stated that the US has lost the war - during the middle of the war! Can't get much more irresponsible than that. Once again, the Left has changed the rules. It's now okay to criticize a President overseas - that's the Left's new standard. If the Right attacks him, there is no use in complaining that this shouldn't be done.

And what is Obama's broad mission? As we have seen so far, his mission is to apologize for everything that the United States stands for in order to be popular with foreigners. Good luck with that Mr. President.

Well looks like Obama gets a filibuster-proof majority in the Senate based on political machinations of a radicalized Supreme Court. And the Lib's thought that only Republicans stole elections!!

This picture is representative of the shock of hearing about a well-known persons death. I have always had a problem when entertainers are hyped to such levels of importance that they are considered hero's. Jackson isn't a hero - no one that has become a celebrity by being a singer, actor/actress, or sports star - should be revered as such. That being said, he is probably one of the most well known people in the world - for both his musicial talents but also for some very negative reasons. I was in college when his Thriller album came out and it was huge. However, that was like 25 years ago. Lately he is most known for his unhealthy preoccupation with children. No responsible adult would have had so many children staying at his home unsupervised. The guy was a celebrity his entire life so he certainly did not have a "normal" childhood. However, you don't deal with your own personal shortcomings by building a carnival around your house to entertain children to fulfill something missing in your own life. This part of his life was creepy and detracts from his legacy in a big way.

Don't worry, Obama has plenty of money to buy Hummer - he'll just have to borrow it from the Chinese at ever escalating interest rates.

It is rather shocking that President Obama has not yet apologized to the people of Iran. After all, he is an expert apologist and has stated that he does not want America to be used as a 'foil' for the mullahs. Now that he has interjected himself into the internal affairs of Iran (which just a few days ago he said he wasn't going to do) he will probably have to apologize for all of the bloodshed that he has helped to foment by not standing up for the protestors from the beginning. My guess is that Merkel told him to grow a pair and be a man for a change. His tone did change after her arrival in Washington.

Obama is a coward. No matter what anyone says, the Iranian mullahs will call any opposition puppets of the US and the UK. They have been chanting "death to America" for 30 years for goodness sake! They blame the US for everything - regardless. The sad thing is that France was the first country to come out forcefully for the demonstrators - France of all countries!! These are sad times for America. Obama just wants to keep his options open for after the mullahs crush the pro-democracy demonstrators. That's just pathetic and an abdication of America's role as leader of the free world. Now it's back to back to business as usual - groveling and apologizing and moral equivalencies. Iran stones women to death and America pays women less than men - see, we are all bad aren't we! And for what? The mullahs will give him nothing and he will have missed the opportunity to support the democratic forces in Iran. Shame!
