Let's see now... 'No blood for poppies'? No, that's one thing the Left is willing to risk lives for. Al Qaeda is going to put up a fight in Afghanistan - I just hope Obama doesn't concede defeat like the Dems did when the going got tough in Iraq. Conservatives will not desert our military no matter who the President is. However, the Left will stab Obama in the back if he doesn't reverse course and begin to get the radical Left in Congress under control.

It's exciting to see how Obama is putting the spotlight on the next pressing problem on America's national agenda - the mortgage crisis. Right after Harry Reid and Nancy Pelosi write up some Socialist legislation in Congress to basically give people free houses, Obama can get back out there on the campaign trail and sell the plan by telling us again about how the 'sky is falling' and 'the end is near'. Since President Obama has never done anything in his political career, it's probably best to leave the actual work of socializing and bankrupting the nation to the experts. Former Republican Senator Stevens (Alaska), would be proud.

It's nice to see dogs being well taken care of - especially ones that have given such service to their owners. Domesticated animals such as dogs and cats are bred to serve us or to be our companions - and a lot of them are abused and neglected. It's nice to see and read some good news about how animals are treated. Thanks JT.

I also support President Barack Hussein Obama in his efforts to defeat Al Qaeda in the Afghan-Pakistan border region. I am just wondering where are the Left's complaints about "unilateralism" and "invasion" of a soveriegn country. I guess it's okay since the guy in charge now is a Democrat.

Republicans did overspend during their time in charge. Bush said that only a national emergency would cause him to deficit spend. Well, 9/11 and two wars resulted in deficit spending. The problem was that even during what was termed an "emergency" there were no domestic reductions in spending - especially over the last two years with Dems in control of Congress.
Now that the hard left of the Democrat Party has complete control over government, you haven't seen real deficit spending like we are going to be experiencing now. It took less than 3 weeks to add at least 1.5 trillion to the annual deficit (including the TARP II and interest). What is terrifying is that what Obama is doing appears to be a repeat of he Carter administration. The most likely result of all of this debt will be stagflation. We have a huge amount of debt and now a huge annual deficit. Add to that the Social Security, Medicaid, and Medicare obligations of 5$53 trillion. All of this spending is pure madness - and there are actually Democrats complaining that we are not spending enough! This is pure insanity...

When is Obama going to surrender and stop this slaughter of innocents. He promised to leave Iraq to prevent these senseless murders! After this latest terrorist attack, can't he finally see that the war is lost? Harry Reid will set him straight on this...

Obama unilaterally invades a soveriegn nation - oh not again! Where were the UN Security Council meetings and the multilateral agreeement allowing him to wage war against Islam? Where are the Europeans in Obama's crusade against the Muslims?

Less than a month in office and over a trillion dollars added to the deficit. If deficit spending was stimulative, we should have had a roaring economy after Bush's spending (granted there was 9/11 and two wars to pay for). Obama will top Bush's deficits in a mere two years. He is already off to a fast spending start.

President Obama has begun to show his highly partisan side since being inauguarted and Gregg was smart to cut and run from this loser of an administration. Obama has no interest in compromising with Republicans except to pick off just enough Liberal RINO's to get his far left agenda through Congress. By not making public the back room dealing on the "porkulus" legislation he has broken yet another promise that he made to the American public. He has also lied by not posting all bills for at least five days before signing them - another promise. I give Gregg credit for trying to cross party lines to serve in an opposition administration but the politicization of the 2010 Census has to have seen as an affont to Gregg.

It's interesting to read that Liberals really don't object to high deficits after all. They just want the deficits to be used to create dependency. President Obama is striving to achieve the tipping point in the relationship between the people and their government. That tipping point will come when 50% of the public no longer pays taxes to provide the benefits that they receive from the state.
Besides the bad loans that the Congress forced banks to give to people that couldn't pay them back and the incentives that Liberal lobbyists at the big mortagage companies were able to buy from their colleagues in government, the current ecnonomic crisis is the result of too much wasteful government spending. More spending will not solve the problem of too much spending.
Huge Keynsian spending yeilds less in economic output then it costs. The private sector must be stimulated, not government programs. Obama's trillion dollar spending bill does very little to help the private sector and will only grow government. This is a huge mistake. How will Liberals pay for government when the private sector has been choked to death?

This interview is a confirmation of the whacked out self-importance that Ono and so many of the 60's hippies have about themselves. She was married to a man that struck it rich and was himself a self-absorbed narcisist. She is a singer who can't sing - there isn't much more to say about the woman.

A huge waste of money. Add this to the TARP and the country has added an unprecedented amount of public debt that will drive up interest rates and be a drag on the economy in the long run. Obama has been very partisan in allowing Pelosi and Reid to cram this turkey through Congress on party line votes. The public is against this hugely wasteful spending that will only further the goals of the Democrat party and will do nothing to help the economy recover. We would be better off allowing the business cycle to run it's course and refrain from drowning the nations future under a sea of red ink.

The world should not fear this terrible international badminton crisis. Right after Obama talks the Iranians out of building nuclear weapons, he will send Hillary to charm the pantsuits off the Mullahs and have our badminton team over there before you can say, "Death to America!"

Spending billions on socialist programs will do nothing for the economy. The US would be better off in the long run by not running up the debt by another 1.2 trillion (including interest). This is a huge waste of money and Liberals shouldn't fall for it because of hot air from the likes of Air America's Randi Rhodes and MoveOn.org. These are not "modest" differences as the President suggests. This is a Left wing free-for-all with money being thrown at the most ridiculous of programs. So much for the 'change' that Obama promised the American people. Wasting more money and running up the national debt isn't change - it's business as usual. The man is being stampeded by the far Left in Congress and he is completely oblivious of the hoof prints all over his suit.

Another lobbyist and crook in the Obama administration; this should not be a surprise to anyone. Let's see, add this guy to the guy chosen to be in charge of the IRS (who is also a tax cheat) and the Commerce Secreatary that had to be ditched because he is involved in a pay-for-play scandal. Let's not forget the Secretary of State whose husband is bought and paid for by foreign governments around the world. You gotta love those limousine liberals - do as I say, not as I do. What an obamanation this administration has turned out to be not even two weeks after taking office. Worst president in American history - you can write it down now.

New Jersey's Division of Youth and Family Services probably didn't even give the parents the reason why they took them away. The agency must disclose to the police what illegalities were going on and police reports are in most cases public record. I think this couple is nuts, but it is obvious that the children were taken because of their political incorrect names. It has been happening by degrees for many years but it's hard not to realize that freedom is in retreat in America. To be free is to have the right to fail and to be a complete idiot if that is what you want to be. Putting up with the downside of freedom is essential because of the huge benefits that can be had on the other side.

Obama will do what Liberals love to do, take something that is wrong (in this case terrorism) and muddle the issue until it isn't really all that bad. To me, the phrase 'war on terror' refers to the fight against Islamic terrorists. The terrorists themselves relate their terrorist acts to the word 'jihad'. The biggest problem that Muslims have is that they do not have enough voices brave enough to speak out against the hi-jacking of their religion and related words like 'jihad'. Those that are the target of what the terrorists themselves call 'jihad' are not to blame for associating terrorists acts with the religion that inspired them. The lack of moderation among Muslims, and the relative silence and the often very vocal public support for terrorist acts in the name of jihad on the part of large numbers of Muslims is very damaging to the cause of peace loving Muslims. Obama's attempt to muddle the issue for PR purposes is idiotic and will only undermine his own efforts in fighting Islamic extermists in Afghanistan and in preventing future acts of terror in the US itself.
