In response to Larry's post of 11:17 - I'd say there is a distinct probability. An sooner or later, one of these vacant clones will be crying on a DVD so we can all have a look at it.

It doesn't matter. The only people remotely interested in this kind of infantile, cutesy-poo dross are a) either cerebrally- or phallically-challenged and b) Denizens of this scepter'd isle.
The Foreign Ministry has no right weeing away tax revenue on crapola of this magnitude.

Pawatan - the point, I think, is the fact that this bollox is what the Government is spending our tax money on, rather than getting the country into some semblance of functionality - and in a few weeks they'll be bleating about how regrettable it is that there is no choice but to increase the consumption tax and bleed more money out of us.

A news conference at the Foreign Ministry? We've got Korea with a missile ready to go next week, and our paid bureaucrats (I can't say "leaders", it would be disingenuous) are weeing away man-hours with this infantile shtick?
What is that thing with the mouth that the one on the right is doing? As if a vapid, thousand-yard stare doesn't make you look retarded enough, squint your lips like you're having a stroke and you'll get there.
The most irritating thing about this is that there will be thousands of perfectly-attractive girls dolling themselves up to look like this, squeaking and acting five years old, because some inadequate has decided women look better than this than in leather skirts and thigh-length boots.
Is it just me, or don't women look better when they're dressed like adults?

I think some people are choosing to forget the simple fact that there were no Islamist terrorists in Iraq whatsoever until somebody's foolhardy assault on the country, without any kind of strategy for what would happen after the removal of Saddam (on spurious and deceitful grounds), tuned the area into Recruitment Central for anyone with a grievance and the will to use violence to express it.

One of the most irritating things about this picture is that it's absolutely certain that wherever this travesty goes, halfwits will squeak "Kawaii" as though this is some fortuitous happenstance, rather than the fruition of many long lonely evenings in a spinster's loveless living room, and only one of a thousand almost-identical pictures of the same cat in slightly different varieties of pink clothes, all purchased in a vain attempt to drown out the deafening shrieks of the final, futile ova being dispatched into the fruitless endgame of a barren body clock.
And another thing. Since when did cats require a) cloths or b) wheels?

They should have cuffed his right hand first. The right wrist of a groper is always busy, and he'd have biffed himself unconscious within 30 minutes.

Wonder how happy these fans would be to learn this film opened in Soutrh Korea on January 22nd?
I have to say, it's a pretty good stunt, but would have been even better if he hadn't had to pretend japanese fans are some kind of special favourite, but don't get to see the film until it's been released absolutely everywhere else.

He's looking into ways to save the US car industry, and the tens of thousands of jobs involved in it. Surely that's a good thing?
Wait until a decision's reached and then you can pick holes and hope it fails, in the manner of the great patriot junkie Limbaugh.
