Some ppl watch crap even though they know it7s crap from the start. go figure. theres no account for taste. Perhaps not the worst of all time, but I coudnt watch 'Galaxy Quest' till the end. I get annoyed when that happens.

Just when Okada was doing well. I agree that 'torshay' as he's called here, his time has come and gone. Why does he still appears on tv/commercials is beyond me. Hope the Italian does a better job.

ugh!!! I've short term memory for disgusting stuff, how can you all remember all that?? Btw I'm soo glad the 'bread' aisle of the conbini I went to today were close to empty. Of course there was still white bread :(

go to any conbini and check for yourself. I detest melon bread but I soon forget abt unpleasant looking food b/c I don't taste it, usually.

well the thing about 'magical' barriers/gates here in JPan is simple, it's for people who want to commit suicides. And with this article here, it looks like it will be for drunks too and their victims.
And for general safety I guess...who knows?

Thanks. I forgot Ebisu b/c last week when I went there was by subway(no gates/barriers btw). Busy Yamanote stations like Tokyo don't have them either.

I heard this suggestion more than once, take a train/subway and enjoy the air conditioning and the company, with a book or whatever. I keep an eye on my bills (aircon, etc) and I would consider that option if it weren't so boring. Economical, nonetheless.

If there are still 'laws' that approve of such horrendous, revengeful 'punishments'in this world, it enables bloodthirsty 'victims' to feel entitled to them, and what if more and more of them came forward and reacted like that? The whole population would be either in hospitals, or dead; as 'accidents' or 'happenings' unfortunately are part of human life. The feeling of wanting to be avenged is understandable up to a point; but once their 'laws' approve mutilation and torture, they have ceased to be human. I think that those seeking such a manner of revenge are not going to be satisfied with it and will grow disgusted with themselves but it will be too late. They may kill themselves too.
What then separates humans from beasts?
