I read an article the other day where they said that can test to see if you have smoked marijuana in the last 3 days. If it is true, (a tad questionable I believe) and they can refine the technology the cops could give tests "on site" like breathalyzers.

One thing I really think people who smoke pot should not do is operate heavy machinery like cars while they are stoned.

Other than that I believe pot is as safe or safer than alcohol and should be decriminalized or even legalized.

I doubt Alaska has ever had a single entrant make it onto American Idol. hahahahahahaaha. Tooo funny!

In Alaska's defense, I would have to say it is a tad far from the audition locations eh. Has anyone from Hawaii been in American idol?

but Jackson said that the only place he has had a similarly humiliating experience in the past was at a U.S. airport

Glad that was mentioned. So true, so true.

    ColAmerica said:

A high pfressued hose into the anus was one of the methods used to kill an inmate.

Oh my scary god! Is this true? That just freaks me out.

Meh. Don't worry about it Nessie and Madverts.

You think the conservatives will be swayed in the least by what you say? Their guy is in control now. They could care less if their freedoms are being taken from them from beneath their feet.

    Echelon... Echelon... what?

I heard about it before. It can be found on the interweb. Wow! Why do you keep saying it over and over again? You want me to care more about it one way or the other?

I would actually like to know where Osama Bin Laden is.

I mean with all this Echelon information gathering and the massive amount of funds now pumping into the US spy business, they must know right? Or is the low tech outsmarting the high tech? Or is he already dead and the gov just doesn't want us to know so they can keep sucking money from the taxpayers? Conspiracy! OMG!

    USARonin,

There is nothing I would really care to know about the secret things that are going on in the US government. Lord knows of what crazy things they are keeping from us.

I must admit though, that I do love watching Future Weapons and learning about a minute portion of what the military is creating. That Ray Beam thing is just plain cool (as long as you are not on the receiving end).

As long as I don't wind up suddenly "missing" in the future because I speak out against the government I don't really care... Scary thing is, I think we are moving closer and closer to the good ol' gestapo times eh.

N Korea's Kim died in 2003; replaced by lookalike, says Waseda professor

Caught a glimpse on CNN today and the reporter there was talking about the questionable health of the North Korean leader. The reporter even mentioned this above claim and said "Of course nobody is taking this claim seriously".

    Ouch! Bandwagoning time from CNN!

What do the extreme rights think of mccain pretty much distancing himself and "behind the bush" bush bashing? Ya, it is a straight forward question. Ya, I doubt I will get a response from them aside from a perhaps a "super nifty" attempt at a one liner which fails in every sense of the imaginable.

The polls don't matter here folks. This is a question on where your loyalties stand and who do you support. You for bush? You for mccain? You for the elephant no matter what backstabbing occurs within your own party?

Where are all the die hard Republicans now? Someone is talking trash about your hero, Bush! Are you just gonna lie down and take that?

    For shame. /shakehead

Doing me webwork today and I ran across this article...

    http://my2bucks.wordpress.com/2008/09/02/a-letter-from-someone-who-has-known-sarah-palin-since-1992/

The woman apparently has known Palin for many years and gives her information which seems to be valid.

She does rip pretty deep into Palin though, so you Palin lovers might wanna skip this one.

Because the US has so damn much media coverage all over the world that there is not a person shy of perhaps a small nuclear family in Papua New Guinea that doesn't know about it.

The set up: There are two very different sides that may soon control the government that some/many/most/all people on this small planet believe is the most powerful force on the earth.

The media... Yes, you too JT, gives this type of election crap an article or two per day for us posters to squabble over.

Many people choose a side or are inexorably pulled into it by those rowdy, loud mouthed Americans.

No matter the side you are thinking "My gods how can anybody be that thick/stupid/moronic"? So in turn they semi-ally or fully ally with the other side.

JT sees its opportunity to get more visitors to its site and adsense revenue that they post this question.

    Is that about right?
