Carry on and computers are separate items. Computers do not count as carry on. Personally, it is the way they load planes with zones that mess everything up. Window seats should go in first, then middle seats, and aisle seats last. I hate it when I have to put my carry on way in the back, but my seat is way in the front. Some dude tried to take my bag out once and put his in and carry mine to the back. Almost had a fight. I won. And all those souvenirs collected by JP people should be checked in. They buy so much crap.

I like being on a shinkansen platform. When that train rushes by, make sure you do not spit. Very dangerous idea. I think you can still get platform tickets but not actually ride the things.
