JT - if Tondabayashi is in 'Western Japan' then where does that place Yamaguchi, Hiroshima and Kyushu? China? I think it would be more appropriate to name it as 'Central' Japan.

Highly doubtful. But a nuke on Seoul is highly likely and the main reason why the US hasn't invaded North Korea yet. 2 million would be dead in mere minutes.

Very true that romulus!
I'm personally getting sick of hearing about Japan whining of the North Korean abductions.
Yeah sure what North Korea did was wrong, but the whole world knows this already. The best thing Japan could do now is to just continue peaceful negotiations for improving ties with North Korea, and who knows, in years to come, NK may even be more open to new ideas as a result.

Yeah fixed lines are all but useless these days other than internet use. These phone companies are gonna have to change the way they do business once the iPhone gets here, especially the new 3G model coming out:

What she does with her body and her phone is her business.
What I don't understand is, Japan is the biggest sex industry in the world, but still pixels out the penis and vagina - the two parts of the body that every human being, male or female, has. Why are we still living in an age where seeing these body parts is still considered disgusting? And what is so promiscuous about showing nipples? We all have them for pity's sake!
If she wants to take pictures of herself naked and make a bit of money out of it, there should be no law against that. I can take pictures of my thumb and sell it, and that's been places I can tell you!!

I just watched this on the news, and one thing they never even mentioned is the fact that most of the 20,000 Okinawans that died during the American invasion, killed THEMSELVES!! More propaganda against the US obviously.

In England, I got involved with a beautiful woman I worked with. We tried to keep our relationship a secret but everyone soon found out. THAT wasn't a problem.
The problem came when we broke up several months later, all because another female colleague said something that wasn't true, about me. My girlfriend never even gave me the chance to sort things out and tell her the truth (looking back, I realise how much better off I am without her anyway). I had to walk past her desk every day to get to mine at the back of the office. It was one of the most heart wrenching experiences of my [love]life! She wouldn't speak to me at all and it just made everything so difficult. My work started to suffer, as did hers, and eventually she left.
Several months went by and she came to a party our office had organised. I was actually terrified of seeing her - out of sight, out of mind and all that - but we ended up going home together that night. However, it did not end well and our last words to each other were rather...ahem...bitter.
Then I came to Japan and met my wife.
Can workplace romances work? I think they can, but in my opinion it's never a good idea to get involved with someone at work.
When I worked Summer Camp USA in 1996, we had a motto "Don't Screw The Crew!" - best summer of my life!

This headline is no shocker...the world hates America for what Bush has done. When I was a kid it was my dream to live in the USA and spend my life there. I went 12 years ago and although it is a beautiful country and there are some amazing people there, I was totally put off living there by selfishness, greed and a ME ME ME attitude from a lot of Americans. I know they're not all the same, but it was enough to change my lifelong dream. I think America can garnish a fresh image, but it's going to take a VERY long time!
