Mercury poisoning is a real danger and I think the government suppresses the health data to support whaling. So the supporters of hunting whales in a sanctuary are going to court to be able to keep violating the whaling agreement and sanctuary. What a beautiful example of doublethink.

Well I would support a traditional hunt using traditional boats and spears etc. Getting no help from modern equipment. As for being anti Japanese, oh Please! It is anti whaling and is not a reflection of Japanese people. The whalers are of Japanese nationality and supported by the Tokyo government but they are not the will of the Japanese people. As for this lawsuit She Sheppard should sue in world court because Japan is breaking its agreement. The Whales are suppose to be studied not killed for food.

arrestpaul, well Japan can go to the world court and present their case. The slaughter of these whales for research is a lie and the meat is contaminated. Japan is disgusting to use money to aid people for this farce. The whalers do not need protection, Sea Shepard and the whales need it!

Well the Japanese government screwed up the declaration of war. The airmen and sailors were told they were at war. They did nothing wrong and the damage to the civilians was mostly caused by improper fusing of anti aircraft rounds. A lot of American anger is the embarrassment of being caught with their pants down. If the DOW was delivered in Washington on the 6th of December nothing would change. Perhaps it would of been worse with 1/2 the battleships at sea and the Japanese would of destroyed the Oil storage and dry docks forcing they back to San Diego.

Australia should send its navy and send to them in no uncertain terms they are engaged in an unlawful act. Get out of the Whale sanctuary or else. If you do not like it go to the World Court and for the last time depart from our EEZ! These whales do not belong to Japan. Turnabout is just a wonderful thing! Since Japan arrests Chinese fishermen in its EEZ, they should have no complaints against Australia for maintaining their rights in its EEZ.

Spidapig24, the bases that "matter" is Kadena AFB, alone with White Beach. The big battle will be and air and naval battle in the Sea of Japan and South China Sea. The marine helicopters will be useful for air and sea rescue but if the Chinese land a signification force on Okinawa it is over. It is my wish our Chinese cousins think this through and do not go to war. They have almost nothing to gain and everything to lose. They have to settle for the "payback" done by the Americans to the Japanese nation.

Oh forgot to add treachery and the results of our actions. The sailors on the Arizona were doing their duty when the explosion destroyed the ship. They did not leave their battle stations. They are a credit to themselves and the US Navy.

Just wondering if the #3 turret is still dry? I read that unexploded ordinance and powder were removed. Understand noxious gasses were given off during this process. I have seen pictures of the ship during the 50's. There was a deck on it during the 50's, what happened? Oh I would contribute to a fund to persevere the ship. Why? It is a lesson to all of us about the wages of complacency.

WilliB well they should all have a reunion in jail minus the Prius they hit. What is with it with the sports cars in a country where so much of the highways are 80km per hour max. 100 km per hour is only on certain sections of the expressways. At 100km per hour they should of been able to keep control, so they must of been speeding. They should at least get Professional negligence resulting in injury. Suspend their drivers licenses and let they ride the bus and train. This once again shows "there is no cure for stupid".

Photoman333, it is not hard to import one to Japan. Cost you to ship and an easy conversion. It is not possible to import Japanese Spec cars to America. Only problems I see is the 100 plate and where are you going to park it?

Spidapig24, I continue to agree with you. As to davidattokyo was going to say it is not a Japanese, non Japanese thingy but Blue Witch and me come from Okinawa. We watch whales and do not hunt them. So the new Whale wars season is about to start. Go Sea Sheppard! Protect those whales from the ji ji, uninformed and no conscious people.

Spidapig24, if there is to be war China has to start it. As for aircraft the Chinese have to fly from China to Japan which will severely limit their loiter time. As for numbers the Israeli air force (American type) shot down the Syrian (soviet type) 50 to 1 during their last match. Next add the Americans and their air craft carrier force. Should be at least 2 arriving quickly and more arriving not long after. They will be in position out of range of the Chinese air force. True they are suppose to have an IRBM that can hit them but it is next to impossible to hit a moving target, do the math. Also it would be unwise to use that type of weapon. Too many fired and the USA may mistaken it for a nuke attack and fire back.

Well an apology on that date would go well. So Red China does not wish to talk to the PM. China has to let go of their grudges before progress can be made.

Spidapig24, I so agree with you on this issue. Checks my temperature... If anything the Australians ought to provide protection for the whales. About "traditional" hunting, suppose it would be ok if they went out in "traditional" 16th century boats using "traditional" equipment. This would make it a "traditional hunt and fall within their "rights" as the UN has deemed "traditional" hunting. Australia needs to protect their EEZ just like Japan protects its EEZ from Chinese fishermen.

Come on China, we are waiting for you. Attack Japan and we will put all of the attacking Chinese fleet on the bottom. Their air force would be at the limits of its range, it will be a turkey shoot.

They are going to have and do something with the USS Arizona. Being in shallow salt water has to be destroying the hull. I read somewhere there were some dry compartments, are they still dry and does the navy or park service have a plan to stabilize the hull?

I agree with Spidapig24 and smithinjapan, Japan needs to consider the views of other nations. Someone please check the temperature in Hades, there might be a cold spell. Japans actions wants me to wear a paper sack! Am so embarrassed by the actions of my government.
