Palestinian Arabs have their state -- it is called Jordan and covers most of historical Palestine. The muslim issue with Israel is about the fate of the Palestinisn, it is about the existence of a Jewish state in the middle of the Ummah.
Bush is delusional about this, clinging to the Western idea that every conflict can be solved by compromises.

The Islamic Republic of Iran, of course, has no such qualms. If you follow up on statements by Khameni and other leaders, you`ll find that they would even be happy with a nuclear retaliation -- after all, it would take many nukes to destroy Iran, but realistically only one to destroy the tiny state of Israel. And all the Iranian victims would go to paradise as martyrs, the highest reward for true believers.
So much for deterrence...

More "read my lips" nonsense. It is easy to talk tough for Billary. The fact is that Iran will get its islamic bomb, nobody will stop them, and even after Ahmedinejad nukes Israel, the Western reaction will be nothing more than huffing and puffing and soul-searching about what we did wrong. While assuring each other that the religion of peace has nothing to do with it.

If Arabs want Israel to withdraw entirely from the Westbank and give the Golan to Syria(the "return to the 1967 borders"), then it is entirely reasonable for Israel to ask for some guarantee for peace in return, starting with the recognition of Israel`s right to exist.
To ask Israel to withdraw into its already tiny territory under rocket fire and promises of holocaust is asinine.
Israel withdrew from Southern Lebanon, and got... more terrorism. Israel withdrew from Gazah and got... more terrorism. Leaving the West Bank to become one giant Jihadist terror camp, pointint at the heart of Israel is akin to suicide for Israel.
Which is of course the the point for the muslim Jihadists like Hamas.

Israel is losing women and children with every Arab terrorist attack. Is that you what you mean? If you mean the Arabs, the population of Gaza has exploded from about 200,000 in 67 to about 2 million now. About 400,000 Arab residents who fled when Israel was founded, have multiplied to about 5 million "refugees" now, who demand the right to move to Israel and demographically conquer the Jewis state. Is that what you call losing? Dream on.

If Hamas was really prepared to do that, it would not be Hamas. Here is a hint Dhimmi Carter and his believers: Read the fine print. What conditions does Hamas set for this? Let me guess: A "right of return" for 6 million Arabs claiming to be "refugees" -- i.e. the demographic end of Israel?
