LOL... the problem with that nice sound-byte is that "our land" for the Hamas includes all of Israel.

Helter Skelter:
The Mullahs are laughing.
Remember, this is the same Carter who helped getting Khomeini back into Iran from exile in France and replace the secular Shah regime with the current mullah theocracy. After all, he just had to trust a "holy man". And he is still at it.

GeorgeRouault: Nobody is being "deported", and Gaza is not "occupied". If Hamas gave up terrorism and recognized Israel, they could have millions in aid and open borders tomorrow... then again, it wouldn`t be Hamas any more.

Global warming is a crock. We should face the real issues instead... the end of cheap oil, the emergence of China as a superpower, the growth of radical islam.
Instead, we pump up this politically correct non-issue because it feels sooo good and is so non-offensive.

Timeon:
>I find it ironic that, while criticizing the "fanatic islam fundamentalists", we forget about the wackos in our own garden.
Try the other way around: While the law pounces on these domestic whackos, muslims practise polygamy unimpeded, and introduce it as the law of the land where they can. (Remember, polygamy is gods will, laid down in the Sharia.)
So, you got that one upside down.**

Yes, "racist" and "right-wing" are the typical labels used to effectively shut up anyone. Never mind that islam is not "race" and that islamist fanatics with their anti-semitism and desire for an islamic dictatorship are the real rightists... the label gets applied and sticks.

The limits of freedom of speech in Eurabia... you can say what you want, unless it offends the Master Religion. In which case, it is "racism". Depressing.

Sabiwabi: *>You still fail to realize that the Palestinians are the victims here, the Israelis are the occupiers and aggressors. *
Can you cut out this nonsense? Israel is not occupying the Gaza strip; to the contrary, Israel has forcibly removed all Jewish settlements from Gaza (some of which dated way back to even before islam).
The Hamas continues to lob rockets across the border into Israel; only the media looks the other way and only reports when Israel finally responds.
As for the "genocide" charge, the population of Gaza has exploded from about 200,000 in 67 to about 2 million now. Some "genocide"...

Foddy,
they are only "stuck" as long as the wish success for a democratic Iraq. They could withdraw any time, but the people who advocate withdrawal should be realistic about what happens then... and it won`t luck pretty.
The dishonesty about the situation is shared by all political camps.

Sure it would. However, then they would not be Hamas any more. Jimmy Carter ignores the content of the Hamas Charter and think he can turn Hamas into a peaceful organization by simply talking to them. That is bizarre.
Then again, he is also the guy who supported Iranian mullah revolution on the premise that Khomeini is a nice "holy man".
There are no words to describe the degree of delusion of this man.
