This could get wild. Cops doing their normal jobs and finding illegals. Everybody who starts calling the cops to turn in illegals.
Then the lawsuits.
Arizona is flat broke. I don't understand where they will find the funds for more cops and fight the law suit. But that's their business. < :-)

I agree there are problems. They have been here every since the SEC war created, I'm sure. But to change the who system, huh?
How would you go about that? What changes would you make? What new regulations need to be fixed? < :-)

You're right Badsey, but this was going on strong and unchecked before Obama became president. I'm not condoning it at all. But what you might need to understand is this was a few individuals, not the 100s of SEC personnel.
The SEC needs to be churned up pretty good. Wall Street people know and understand that they need to be regulated. < :-)

The Catholic Church has been shuffling priests and bishops around the world for decades. Then it comes to the surface that the Pope may have conducted the same practice of hiding sexual abusers. < :-)

TheQuestion
Got to remember that the teachers/school union is a small entity, but the Catholic Church or the BSA touches almost everybody, whether Catholic or not. The tentacles of the Catholic Church and the BSA extend way past one city or county. < :-)

I see the hypocracy within the Catholic Church. But since I'm not Catholic I usually don't give a damn. I got tired of all churches in the last 15 years. I don't care for organized churches or organized crime.
But this is about child abuse. I do care. As a parent and prior BSA leader I just get disgusted at this. < :-)

jruaustralia, yep you're right. The republican congress put them together and Clinton signed it on his way out of office. It was put together by Phil Graham, remember one of McCain's advisers till he was fired for making fun of people losing money in stocks and their homes. < :-)

All the while, the SEC attorneys were downloading porn in amounts I can't imagination. The SEC employees weren't paying attention to what was going on on Wall Street.
No wonder they didn't see Bernie Maydoff or Wall Street problems. < :-)

TheQuestion, I was a Boy Scout Leader for 15 years, also. But, I was so enlightened by a CBS news story recently. They showed the files at a Boy Scout of America Center. They were not allowed access to the files, but the BSA had folders of abuse information. Then I'll remind you of the Oregon BSA leader that has been charged with abuse and they allowed him to stay in the unit as a leader for years.
The difference here is that the Boy Scouts haven't gotten the media attention that the Catholic Church has. The Church has been forced to apologize but you haven't heard any apology from the Boy Scouts organization.
I'm still waiting to hear the Pope's apology. I'm not a Catholic. But, it just makes a mockery of the public opinion of the Church. < :-)

Maybe, by the facts laid out, the Pope allowed a pediphiles to continue to practice. I'm sure he wasn't the only known pediphile priest to be practicing.
I haven't heard the leader of the church who was known to allow pediphila to continue apologize either.
Oh sure they do. Just like the Boy Scouts of America, they got all kinds of records. They don't throw anything away. < :-)

tclh apparently you haven't been watching the news. Virtually all flights that were going east and west or west to east over the Atlantic were stopped. Moscow is north and west of Poland, I think. I haven't looked at a map lately, but I think I'm correct.
It's not real difficult to understand. < :-)

sfjp330, please go off on my post. The gasoline reference was an example, only an example.
The point of my post was that this country and none other really are ready to go into another war anywhere, Iran or anywhere.
Are you ready to go to war? < :-)

It is a constant work in progress.
I'd like to see something resolved, but here's the problem. What if they decide that the sanctions are so that Iran gets no gasoline, no machine parts for anything and if they continue progress on their nuclear plans we put all options on the table.
You ready to attack Iran on your (US) own? We're involved in two wars. We have used, repaired and are reusing all our existing military vehicles and weaponry. We have a worn out military and a country tired of our country at war.
Are we going to go to war? Are we going to bomb Iran? Is this nation ready to go to war again, especially in the middle east? How soon should we get these resolutions finished and enacted? If Iran continues, are we as a nation ready to go to war again?
OR... should we talk... and talk... and talk and draw our efforts out for years.
I really don't think any country, especially coalition countries, are ready to see a resolution, ready for signature. If they had one, they would have to act on it and we're in no position to act on it. < :-)

Israel has nukes. Even if they don't declare them or come to Obama's nuclear conference, Israel has nukes. I'm as much or more worried about Israel as I am Iran. < :-)
