skipthesong, I don't forget the democrats that were a part of the bailouts. It's apparent though that the republicans forget that this was allowed to get to this point under the republican president and the bailouts were started under the republican administration. But you never hear that, it's all Obama's fault. Obama has only reacted to what was in process when he took office.

1st thing, talk about a gangster government? We watched the prior administration invaded a country (Iraq) that was no immediate threat to us, based on lies.
2nd thing, most of Obama's 5.5 million came from the sell of his books. He also donated his $1.3 million from the Nobel Peace Price along with another $329K to charity.
3rd thing, remember way back when the last president was all hyped up on NASA, he said we were going to Mars. That was good then, but it's not when Obama says it?

Maybe, but it's more like they have a pretty face that will say anything that they want for a dollar. Palin will sell her soul for the all-mighty buck.
She sold her governorship for a FOXNews program and money changers to parrot their thoughts.
I heard a bunch of old codgers just railing about her comeback at Obama. Hell a ticket to a comedy show will give you her whole act of comebacks and only a two drink minimum. < :-)

I can see where she's a quitter. I can see that she's got a big mouth and a very small resume to back up her bravado. Mayer in a small Alaskan village. Governor of a state that has more polar bears then people.

Why not? During the cold war we built nukes and Russia built nukes. As long as Israel has helicopters and guided missiles and rockets and nukes their neighbors are going to want their own protection.

Sarah Palin is a blithering idiot catering to the simple minded republicans who don't know any better. She didn't even finish her term as governor and the GOP just falls at her feet.
I can understand the in initial sexual attraction, but after that she's the woman you'd want to gag, just to shut her up.
But when you don't have anybody else besides a worn out preacher who spews intolerance or a pretty boy governor who got insurance for all, but didn't want it for the whole country (hypocrite) and a beat up old man in Arizona.
I love it. Go Palin!! Go Palin!! < :-)

The GOP will protect Wall Street no less then they attempted to protect insurance companies. The GOP has already been assigned a new buzz word, "Bailout". They will do anything to save Wall Street. After losing the insurance lobby they are desperate. < :-)

Now that even scarier then the article itself. What I've seen from religion in the past few years is covering up for pediphiles, abuse of children and the protection of abusers.
I'd rather be amongst a group of gays then be amongst a group of priest. < :-)

Not really. Can't think of a better term. Tea Bagger is nothing compared to the terms and jesters used against the democrats and Obama. They like waving their posters with Obama depicted as Hitler and other wonderful names. The term Tea Bagger is nothing compared to their disrespect. < :-)

Sarah Palin, the Tea Baggers poster girl, couldn't even complete her term as governor of the state of Alaska. What gives you any idea that she's more than just a democratic hater.
Besides the initial sexual appeal, she's nothing but a quitter who has a big mouth. She's just pissed that a "Community Organizer" beat her and McCain out of the White House. < :-)

NCLB was a failure. Didn't teach children anything except to take a certain set of tests.
The RX Drug plan was another unpaid mandate that costs have exceeded all forecasts amounts dreamed, gave the RX Drug companies a windfall.
I remember during Reagan the ARM loans soared to 21%. That was the start of the fall of the American farm industry. More family farms were lost during Reagan/Bush administrations than any other recent time period.
Must also remember that we had a guns 4 drugs program that went very well also.
So comparing Reagan to the Tea Baggers may not be a good thing. < :-)

Remember the two wars that weren't paid for? Remember the tax breaks for the 1% of the population of 2003/04? (That alone makes me be against tax cuts).
We're so far in debt that the country's credit rating was just dropped in the past month.

skipthesong, how can we lower taxes when we have the debts that we have? Yeah, I have heard the argument that the lower the taxes, the more productivity, the more taxes collected. This just hasn't been shown to be true.
So until we get the debt reduced, I really don't see any tax cuts. < :-)

Obama's great job has only inspired the Tea Baggers. They are outraged that a "Community Organizer" has performed so well after the devastation that the bush regime caused on the nation. They had hoped that he'd fall flat on his face.
