    We can very easily stop all foreign aid. We can quit pandering this relationship with Israel that benefits no one but Israel. We can tell Israel to buy their weapons somewhere else.

    And the next time that they are in a war with someone, we should not try to rush the production so Israel has more weapons then Palestinians. < :-)

    It's not going away by not addressing it. It's the 800 pound gorilla in the room. Sexual abuse by priest that the Pope allowed to continue to serve. Going to have to address it and take responsibility. < :-)

    The Israeli leader will not likely be able to settle east Jerusalem with Jews and maintain strong relations with the Obama administration.

    I'm glad that Obama is standing up to Israel. I'm looking forward to the foreign aid to be reduced of stopped. Obama isn't the pansy most presidents are. He's not going to pussy foot around either.

    Go home Netanyahu and rethink your visit. Obama not going to bend over for you and I don't think Hillary Clinton likes you much either. I knew I like these two. < :-)

    Now what's next? Health care took longer than it should, but we still have more time to make more changes.

    The next election will be a monumental event. The stakes have gotten bigger. I think that a lot of people who used to say my vote doesn't mean anything might reconsider.

    There are more issues to tackle. < :-)

    Free speech doesn't include bricks. Free speech doesn't include destruction of personal property.

    Does free speech exclude death threats as legal free speech?

    Republican posters here on this site will be hopping up and down as soon as a democratic congressman dies. Maybe even wounded. But by doing him in he can't vote democratic. < :-)

    I mentioned immediately after the health care bill was signed that there would be some civil disobedience of some sort. I never believed it would be directed against the democrats so soon. This will only bring more supporters for Obama. Those who are for the health cared package will start coming out showing their support more than they have.

    How soon will someone be injured or killed? < :-)

    The Moscow Treaty set limits on both sides’ strategic nuclear warheads at between 1,700 and 2,200. The new deal, whose provisions have not been made public, is expected to lower that to about 1,500.

    This is the best news in 24 hours. Health care passing was best. But I've been looking for an agreement like this. Someday there won't be anymore.

    “This agreement will set the stage for further cuts in U.S. and Russian arsenals and multilateral negotiations for reductions by all nuclear weapons countries,” Burt said.

    Even better news. < :-)

    USARonin are you telling me that in the end Michael Moore didn't endorse the health care bill? He never said that this isn't what he'd like to see, but this is the best we have right now, so he endorses it? < :-)

    Don't roll Clinton in that statement.

    Clinton's been to Haiti a couple of times already. He's been an advocate for Haiti for several years. If anybody can help them, Bill Clinton can. < :-)

    I'll let you folks enjoy yourself. You sound just like the ones who were upset because Social Security was passed. Like when medicare and medicaid was passed.

    I'm waiting to hear the republicans screaming to repeal it. I'm sure they don't have any friends or family members, NONE, who need the health care bills.

    What about 14 states trying to stop it for their states? I'm sure there aren't anybody in those states who would benefit from this bill.

    What happens when democrats in those states stand up and say, You're wrong we want this health care bill? What happens when republicans stand up and say they want it?

    You think there are no republicans with children who can't get health care? You mean there are no republicans who are going or are bankrupt because of an illness? You think that there are no republicans who can't afford health care?

    Then you don't want abortions, but when that child that should be aborted because it's deformed is born, you support insurance companies from covering that child. Pretty pitiful. < :-)

    Freedom Fries will prevail.

    Wow, freedom fries.

    I'm waiting to hear the screams and rants from the republicans about repealing this bill. I'm looking forward to hearing how the republicans will tell the American People how they intend to stop the Health Care Reform bill and take away the rights just afforded them.

    Tell me how you'll phrase, we're going to take away:

    (Borrowed from sailwind's post above and altered.)

    *Protection against - Prohibit pre-existing condition exclusions for children in all new plans;

    *Take away this protection - Provide immediate access to insurance for uninsured Americans who are uninsured because of a pre-existing condition through a temporary high-risk pool;

    *Protection from - Prohibit dropping people from coverage when they get sick in all individual plans;

    *Take away this change - Lower seniors prescription drug prices by beginning to close the donut hole;

    *Right, take away Tax Credits for small businesses - Offer tax credits to small businesses to purchase coverage;

    *Allow an illness to bankrupt you - Eliminate lifetime limits and restrictive annual limits on benefits in all plans;

    • Yeah tell parents of college students they can't be covered by Mom and Dad - Require plans to cover an enrollee's dependent children until age 26;

    *Right, lets allow preventative simple illness to bankrupt the system. - Require new plans to cover preventive services and immunizations without cost-sharing;

    *Now patients have an advocate between them and the insurance companies - Ensure consumers have access to an effective internal and external appeals process to appeal new insurance plan decisions;

    Stop insurance companies from passing on the cost of insurance company stock market losses to consumers and the cost of overhead/real cost - Require premium rebates to enrollees from insurers with high administrative expenditures and require public disclosure of the percent of premiums applied to overhead costs.

    Yep, I want to hear the republicans telling their middle class and poor constituents how they will work as hard as they can to change this back to the old way of doing business. < :-)

    Sarge, come to the states for a while and you'll see quite a few more people who want the health care bill. Maybe the Americans who live in Japan don't want this, but in the states more people want it, then don't.

    I'm pushing that we not reelect the 33 democrats that voted against the bill. < :-)

    Here's a nice little link that shows how the house members voted. I paste it here so everybody can see how they voted. If you're a democrat, pay close attention to who the ones that voted against the health care bill. They need to be voted out. We don't need any Dixiecrats in the democrat ranks.

    I'm extremely happy it passed. < :-)
