Then go get back into your little plane and go back to Israel. We got no money or arms for you. You can go back and build to your hearts content.

Obama stop all aid to Israel immediately. < :-)

I'm very glad that the democrats stood up to the republicans lies and distortions and passed this landmark legislation. < :-)

I quit organized religion a long time ago. So I have no church leaders, per se. But I have to ask, why Catholics remain to support the came leaders over and over who have shown their support for the pediphiles and not for the children/boys.

Here we have the Pope, who allowed bad priest to continue, giving an apology with out taking responsibility for his actions. < :-)

I wonder how many of those who were standing outside the White House yelling for an end to the war were out there supporting george bush's lies and propaganda campaigns.

I'd love to see the war criminal get arrested, but they'll have to go to Wyoming and Texas to do that.

Obama is keeping his promise to end the war in Iraq. After 6 years of mismanagement, it ain't an over night task.

Obama is doing what bush never did in Afghanistan. bush sent in forces and then started bringing them out for his war in Iraq. Obama went into Afghanistan, doubled the forces, has worked with Pakistan, used more predator drone attacks then ever before and is putting an end to current Taliban and Al-Quaeda leaders by taking them out.

But back to my original question. I wonder how many of those anti-war protesters were protesting and saying no to war before bush attacked or after 6 years of mismanagement by bush were out there protesting for their first time. < :-)

sailwind, like I ask above, when were the states or the republicans going to do something about the health care system if Obama hadn't gotten elected and pushed for it? < :-)

Unfortunately, this bill is so filled with waste and inefficiency, and many of Obama's promises regarding health care reform have been taken out,

I'm sure you'll explain what they are.

We're supposed to wait how long till the system gets fixed?

We're going to wait till_______ to fix the system?

When will the states handle this?

When did the republicans say they'd rein in the insurance companies?

The republicans helped us with health care insurance when?

When were the republicans going to present their plan to help the uninsured? < :-)

This is so simple to solve. Make a harmless herb legal. You take the legality away, then you take away the crime.

This is essentially no different then when we had prohibition. Except marijuana is harmful like alcohol.

Then you can stop sending $billions to countries to stop the transportation of pot. This should have been legalized decades ago. < :-)

“The world has condemned Israel’s settlement plans in east Jerusalem,” Ban told a news conference after his brief tour. “Let us be clear. All settlement activity is illegal anywhere in occupied territory and must be stopped.”

Oh Ban Ki-moon, don't waste your breath. Just stop all funds to Israel. Put sanctions on Israel. Do what you do to other countries that run roughshod.

Israel has proved themselves to be liars when standing by their word. They are all out murderers of women and children in safe havens and schools. < :-)

Apologizing and taking responsibility are two totally different things. I think the Pope failed at his job.

Pope, who himself stands accused of approving the transfer of an accused priest for treatment rather than informing German police during his 1977-82 term as Munich archbishop,

Another example of leadership by position and not example.

I said a month ago, this was about gay priest. The Catholic Church will continue to practice your voodoo and protecting the priest from prosecution despite the harming of children. That's a major sin. But the Pope will be forgiven, huh? < :-)

I'm not surprised that there aren't any war supporters out here pounding their chest about how right this war was. How worthy it was to attack a country that didn't have the WMD that bush said it did and it never had the stockpiles alleged by cheney and feith.

The george bush Memorial War in Iraq will go down in the history books as the biggest veil ever pulled over the eyes of the American people. The American people were duped. < :-)

This is a disaster - Karl Marx lives and is in residence in the White House.

    Sounds like Dr. Michael Savage.

    ObamaCare is polarizing the nation.

Oh no, that was done last administration.

I love these threats from the republicans screaming that this will sink the democrats in the fall. B/S, you'd be saying that about anything that Obama does or doesn't do. That's one of the republicans mantras.

I can't imagine that all republicans don't want health care. There are republicans also that don't have health care insurance. There are those that have pre-existing conditions. I'm sure there are republicans that have newborns with conditions that insurance companies refuse to cover, also. This would help them. The democrats might lose a few. They might just pick up a few. < :-)

“What I heard from the prime minister in response to the requests we made was useful and productive,” she said, “and we are continuing our discussions with him and his government.”>

    Hillary don't hold your breath.

“We are all committed to the launching of proximity talks between the Israelis and Palestinians,” Clinton told reporters in Moscow, referring to the negotiations in which the U.S. would have a go-between role.

But not bending over bearing our backside.

I'm glad it's Hillary going to the American Israel Public Affairs Committee. She's got balls where others will tuck their tails. < :-)

skipthesong, I just watched a program no less than a week ago about all hospitals are doing too many c-sections. There was one hospital (civilian) that if you ever had a c-section you were required top have a c-section for ever in that hospital. There was a woman whose first child was c-section. Her second was natural birth. They required her to have a c-section because she had one once.

Then the news program that told how c-sections are the most common surgery, done on women, in the United States.

Your complaining about c-sections in military hospitals is nothing more than your rant.

If you leave it up to the states to regulate this and get to the point that they allow the selling/buying of insurance across state lines will never happen. The insurance companies have their locks on states and they aren't going to allow that to happen, governed at the state level. < :-)

Because it was a trumped up war that has taken many more lives, money and credibility from the United States then the bush cabal ever dreamed it would be. Where are the celebrations from the coalitions? Where are the flowers in the Iraqi streets and Iraqi women signing their songs of praise?

    Some anniversary. < :-)

You know I've seen several ads by insurance companies saying how bad this health care plan is. I haven't seen the AMA running ads against it, yet. I haven't seen hospitals selling how bad this plan is.

Insurance companies are the ones who will lose out possibly. Probably they will still make a tidy sum of money, just not the money they are now.

And you know I understand a portion of the republicans jargon. They don't want any of their health care run by the government. I understand. But to help all those who don't have health care, the system has to be put together and that includes everybody. < :-)

Being from Kentucky, I loved Fess Parker as Davy Crockett, but then with Daniel Boone. He was my hero. In my earlier days I thought this was the real and honest history of my state.

I was disappointed when he quit acting. I liked those wilderness flicks.

    R.I.P. < :-)
