Why isn't this sum a loan, instead of booty stolen from the taxpayers?

Honor is a word that shouldn't be used in the same context as Tiger Woods. He failed at honoring his children, he failed to honor his wife, he failed to honor his fan and he definitely failed to honor the kids who idolized this American sports hero.
Tiger Woods cut his own throat. He has a problem now playing golf with all the fingers being pointed at him. < :-)

I'm going to enjoy the November elections. I think the republicans will be split between their Tea Party isolationist and the moderate republicans. Then you have the independents. They will split like a tree struck by lightening.
It all benefits the democrats. < :-)

Sabiwabi,
Afghanistan, run by the Taliban, attacked the US. Why would we do anything else beside punish them for attacking the US? What were we supposed to do, build them a new country? We should waste $$Billions$$ on building as new country for our attackers? < :-)

I just love how the republicans were just all over him when he went to NK. How much of a loser he is, and the continued whining.
Then in just a couple of days it's announced that Jimmy Carter had gotten the release of Gomes. What, Jimmy Carter got him released? So we have even more criticism. Fact remains that Jimmy Carter got Gome's release. It just burns the republicans up. < :-)

Isn't it amazing how some posters out here can continually be critical but never can point at what their solution would be, you know Branded?

Yeah, I may have been off topic but only to answer your question.
We'll be a long time paying for bush's presidency.
Where am I wrong on the stimulus? TARP was a pure give-away. No paying it back what-so-ever. If the stimulus isn't a loan, why are the auto makers paying back their loans? Why is are there numerous bank loans being repaid? bush gave away his $700Billion. No repayment.
That's B/S. With more than 400K, they don't have enough? Again, B/S. < :-)

I didn't go nuts. She's the one who choice the Momma Grisly montra, no one else.
Hmmm, no different then when the republicans were running in 2008. bush got a good 4 months of rest.
The best part are the republicans calling each other liars and I'm more conservative then he is rhetoric. Here in Kansas they were damn never cutting their own throats to prove they were more better then the other. < :-)

Molenir,
That's exactly right. It was the bush tax cuts that put us where we are, along with TARP. Neither ones were paid. All borrowed money. At least the Obama Stimulus Plan is money loaned and will be repaid eventually. And with all the tax breaks for the rich, that 39% tax rate is actually only 18%. No more than when Bill Clinton was president.
Fund abortions or pay support on a lot of unwanted children. Which one is cheaper.
Then we have stem cells that can possibly cure and save lives and a bunch of church holy rollers who are getting in that way. < :-)

The just saying no got the republicans nothing. If it got anything, it got Tea Party folks pissed off at republicans. That splits the party. It splits the independents. This all helps the democrats. < :-)

Then Tiger should have found a woman that would allow him to play around. But that's not what he got. He got a woman only wanted him and no others and she didn't want anybody else. You know a monogamous relationship. What conservatives pound the pulpit about until it's Tiger Woods or another celebrity. < :-)

First you talk about the US like dogs. Then you kick out US contractors. Now you want to criticize again. We don't need to be there anyway. We needed to punish Afghanistan, not nation building.
Get the hell out of Afghanistan. < :-)
