    Molenir, I got you.

    I'm sick and tired of my tax dollars being given right back out to the rich. So no more of the bush tax breaks. I want control of my tax dollars, also. I don't want my tax dollars wasted on killing in the Afghanistan either.

    I like this game of saying where my tax dollars are to be spent.

    I'm for stem cell research and cures. < :-)

    Then I guess you leave it to the letter of the law and not opinions. Based on the law they have every right to build it. Based on opinions....

    How far away from ground zero should the mosque be built? 5 blocks, 10 blocks or not on Manhattan at all? How far WilliB? < :-)

    The independents are going to be scared away from the republican party with all the Tea Party candidates. They are so far to the right that it'll be good for the democratic party. < :-)

    Branded, I've seen how the $$BILLIONS$$ have stopped drug trafficking. Pump more $$Billions$$ and you'll get what? More dead bodies. < :-)

    As we work our way through the primaries we're seeing this surge of winning by super conservative republicans. But when it gets to the general elections the independents will be pulled over to the democratic side. They will be swayed because the ultra right scares them to death. < :-)

    OssanAmerica, The NRA has worked there buts off to legalize assault weapons. Assault weapons aren't needed for hunting or self protection. These weapons are being made in the good old USA. (damn we are exporting)

    The drug dealers are buying the weapons by the 1000s in the US and shipped to Mexico, through New Mexico, Arizona and especially Texas.

    How does legalizing pot make air travel unsafe? Smoking pilots? You need to be more afraid of drunk pilots. < :-)

    Hurrah for the NRA. With their help in keeping many weapons that have nothing to do with hunting or protection are getting a great supply of weapons into Mexico from the USA.

    US arms sells have beat all prior years because the republicans and the NRA falsely accused Obama administration of planning to stop the production of weapons.

    Also by keeping marijuana illegal, the cartels are going to push their product. Make marijuana legal and cartels will lose their influence and legal sales will rid Mexico of this problem. < :-)

    Iran refused to give the hostages back to the US while Carter was president and waited till Reagan was inaugurated. There wasn't any war averted. < :-)

    skipthesong, the protesters may be atheist, proud Americans, Catholics and any assortment of people against the building of the mosque. It matters none really. The law may be with the mosque builders and nobody can stop it. < :-)

    aday: you have violated a lot of rights on this board.

    I haven't violated anybody's rights. What I have done is my very basic right of freedom of speech and you don't like it. You're all fine with your freedom of speech but you don't like the truth that I post.

    Then I only show what General Petraus has to say about the whole matter and you pitch it to the side like trash and attack the messenger. < :-)

    A month earlier, a botanist from Cody, Wyo, was killed by a bear shortly after the animal woke up from being tranquilized by researchers.

    In this case the bear was provoked. wasn't a bear attack. < :-)
