Ramzo; yes there are many that "claim" a certain old age, but they cannot prove it through birth records, so fortunately, the book of world records won't recongnize them otherwise anyone could claim any age.

She shouldn't be allowed to impersonate an officer. Wearing the uniform should be taken more serious. aw

The bombs, mortars, bullets and artillery shells that rained down on the island left 12,000 U.S. troops dead and killed as many as 250,000 Japanese, including many civilians who were caught in the crossfire.

This is worded badly. It should mention that the Americans bombed the place for 82 days. It didn't just rain bombs. Of the 250,000 Japanese killed, not "many" but app 150,000 were civilians. Thirty percent of the civilian population were killed by the bombing. App 1500 of them 150,000 were killed by Japanese soldiers.

No, committing murder isn't right in my opinion unless in rare cases like self defense etc.. where did I say that it was okay? I said we shouldn't jump the conclusions (as you have done again).

I wonder if the baby was already dead before ending up in the ocean. I wonder if the girl was raped. I wonder if she was overweight and didn't know she was pregnant (a few cases of that with adults). I wonder if the child was a result of an affair and husband didn't know about it. I wonder if the child would have been aborted at a hospital but the pregnancy was too far along to be done. There are a lot of questions. We shouldn't jump the conclusions until the facts come in. I think this is extreemly rare.

So the US takes 20% of the main Island of Okinawa.. the best, flattest, most buildable land but only contributes 5% to the economy and only employs 8400 people of an Island of 1.3 million. Nope.. I don't think they are needed for economic reasons..

In Okinawa, Americans get angry when they are told they are not wanted. Everyone wants to feel important.. so they dislike being told they are not wanted or loved, since they have to painfully swallow this, they immediately resort to the argument of how much money the "Americans" (I) am pumping into the economy. This translates to need. You may not love me, but you need me and my money. This fulfills the "important" void. It's all basic child psycology. As far as any Okinawans that want the bases, they are benefitting somehow from the bases and don't necessarily like the Americans, but are scared to be tagged as an uncle tom...

I am half Japanese and Caucasian/American... I guess if someone called me a halfbreed I would take it negetively, but never view being called haalf as negetive. In fact I explain myself as haalf. As far as Hasegawa.. I don't care for her look, something about her smile.. maybe she needs darker red lipstick or something. I find only about "haalf" her photos on her website appealing.

Shooting down someones missle, whether it's a test missle or a satelite rocket is an act of war against any country isn't it? What is someone a Japanese or US or Austrailian, Chinese or British missle?

If it was a habu, they would see that pretty quick by the swollen leg. I think the guy had a heart attack or foul play.

It seems in Japan, only the girls under 18 seem to smile and try to talk to you. They are jailbait and know it and gain confidence knowing that they can play the "victim card" anytime they want..

A survival knife is evil, it would be better to be killed by the kitchen steak knife! ONe of these days when the world grows up and the right laws are in place outlawing these killing knives, we can only see cases of kitchen steak knifes being used. Until then, we will all suffer.

He said he accidentally hit Watanabe with his company’s truck last April 12 and then persuaded her to get in to take her where she was staying.

Sounds like this married guy tried to pick her up (for sex) by telling her he was going to drive her to the place she was staying. She got suspicions and started telling him in Japanese to let her out and stop or something to that effect. He didn't, so she jumped out due to panic and died of a head wound.

It seems that if you want to become K-1 champion, you have to be Dutch. Twelve of the 15 K-1 Grand Prix champs to date have been from the Netherlands.

Well, they have excellent warriors in the Nordic countries. Decendent of the vikings. Even the heavyweight boxing champions are all nordic Russians.
