Lots of half truths, like the sinking of the south korean ship by the "north korean submarine" a few months after the hype (lie) a small article appears stating that it wasn't necessarily a proven fact and it perhaps could have been a lost US mine from a recent S Korea/US military exercise. But it worked to help Hatoyama save face in his wavering about the US base transfer in Okinawa.
