Be careful of the know it all "new guy" who thinks he knows it all also. You see them all over the place, got off the plane yesterday getting laid already and immediately thinks he knows it all. The type that would rather learn from a computer and can't stand to be told anything face to face, very low opinion of everyone type.

In Japan I never had a problem in restaurants when requesting the music being turned down. Sometimes it is too loud. I also haven't had a problem when requesting that the Air Conditioner be turned on or cooler. Never had to the staff get mad at me for asking.

Historical facts may have had a reason also, depends when we want to start history. My point is that the people who died should have a ceremony not clouded with politics. An office worker killed in 9/11 in the US or an office worker killed in the A bombings, should be separated from the politics that got that person killed. It's more a time to reflect on their deaths rather than to debate whether they "got what they deserved" because of their nationality.

I don't think it should for the same reason I don't think anything should be said before the 9/11 ceremonies that refers to sanctions the US/UN put on Iraq which made millions of Iraqi's suffer and the base put in Saudi Arabia which Bin Ladin cited as the reason for 9/11.

The politics should be left out of it, these are humans that were killed and had nothing to do with the reasons given (weather we agree with them reasons or not) for the attacks.

I think the "Rats" sister is right... the girls want to be looked at. They do other thing they do to be looked at is do something like adopt a child of a different color. So the profile fits Angelina, she has a tatoo and adopted a black child. All for the media attention and fan attention.

funny how ppl can look down on women with tattoos but dont look down on "paying for women",lol...I personally could care less but really one isn't better than the other..

I guess you got me on that one... at least I admit it. Still I guess I will pull a "perspective" and defend myself when I know it's twisted. Ahh, okay how's this... paying for it ahhh.. hmm. Okay, you got me.

Dolphingirl, she adopted children from developing countries because Madonna (their secret heroine) did it. Sandra Bulock did it also. It makes for good press. Now when singers like Cheryl Crow adopt two blonde haired boys, people wonder if she is a racist. I give no credit for adopting children of color, over any other race. I do think it is political though and feel they are actually being raised by nanny's. I'm surprised you had to mention the "developing countries" adjectives. She adopted.. point blank.

I have paid for my share of girls and if I see even a small tatoo on their ankle or anywhere, I wouldn't pay 5000 yen no matter how good she looks otherwise. It destroys everything sexual about a woman, like bad breath or unshaven legs or dirty teeth... I have absolutely no attraction to a woman with a tatoo. I knew a girl for 5 yrs in Okinawa, she left for the states for one year to study english when she came back she had a small tatoo on her breast, she totally went from innocent smart girl to tramp in my eyes. I never talked to her again and lost all feeling for her in an instant. Garbage.

The tatoo really lowers her "class" level to a tramp. It is ugly and irreversable. Why would anyone disrespect their body like that.

Bin Laden doesn't intend to defeat the US, he only wants to bankrupt the US.. he has said this, and it's working. Spending over 15 Billion a month in Iraq and Afghanistan, but we can't build a 2 Billion dollar fence to guard our own southern border.

With her comments about being nervous in another article, and statements she said about making efforts to have a safe flight and not being sure if she was fit for the job...etc.. it appears this person isn't very confident. Woman or man making them statements would make me question their confidence and abilities. Test scores and courses maybe okay, but that is only a small part. Capt "Sully" who landed in the Hudson river and most US airline pilots who got their experience in the Navy landing on Aircraft carriers and in the Air Force were seasoned and I can't imagine them making lame remarks as she did.

I also don't jump on the band wagon of political correctness about the "first woman this or first black that" not when lives are on the line or more qualified persons might have been pushed aside so an agency can get a headline.

Does it mean she sux at her job? No but she isn't showing what I'd expect from a seasoned pilot based on her remarks. I hope she does well not only for her sake, but for her passengers.

Abstract This study analyzes whether differences existed in the pilot-error accident rates of male and female United States airline pilots. Results are based on data of aviation accidents in the years 1986–1992, obtained from the Federal Aviation Administration. The study found that females employed by major airlines had significantly higher accident rates than their male counterparts overall. However, female airline pilots, on average, were less experienced and much younger than males. Male pilot-error accidents were modeled using logistic regression, regressing on age, experience (total flying hours), risk exposure (flying hours in the last 6 months), and employer (major/non-major airline). The male model provided a good fit for female airline pilots as well as for males. After adjusting for variables included in the model, accident rates of males and females were not significantly different. These findings suggest that neither males nor females are a safer pilot group. Airlines should make every effort to recruit and retain experienced females. The key challenge for managers of airline flight operations is to learn how to manage diversity in the workplace, while maintaining the highest level of safety.

the758, that applies to a lot of people, but the reason they overstay is because they married a local girl who is too scared to adapt to new environments and they guy also sees benefit in staying because he thinks he can score some strange ass on the side. Next thing they realize is that 10 yrs passed and they have no money in the bank and kids only speak Japanese, so they are condemed here in Japan till they graduate and the couple can divorce and he can go back. One of many scenario's.
