    henkels and wusthof are better

Those are bad knives. Go read anthony bourdain's book "kitchen confidential", Most professional chefs in america don't even use henkels and wusthof, they prefer global brand knives.

I also use these types of articles in a beneficial way. Every time my wife gets one of those pangs to move back to Japan, I present her with one of these stories while she is changing our infant and her urges to reinstall are instantly quelled.

Yes, these accidents happen only in japan and nowhere else.

jhk, you don't trust the u.s. but you trust NK?

It's obvious NK is irrational just from their crazy statements they release. I think the latest from NK is that the U.S. being hostile for putting up missile defense systems around hawaii.

Welcome to Japanese TV, foreigners are treated the same in Japanese TV, have to be loud, noisy and scary plus dance around like a monkey.

Have you seen how american tv/movie portrays minority?

Moderator: That is not relevant. Please keep the discussion focused on Japanese television.

yes i can picture Japanese people traveling all the way to the u.s. to buy an abercrombie & fitch t-shirt.

Pretty soon, they are going to buy up all the american made cars too.

No saruzenki, i'm not northlondon, but i guess it's hard for you to grasp that there are other people who disagree with you.

"Time to dump the Japanese model and bring in a real customer centered one like we see in the US." Yeah saruzenki, u.s. is doing real good right now, it's obivious you don't know what you're talking about or you have some bias against japan when you think overall u.s.'s customer service is better than japan's.

You gotta think businesses have done their research before expanding retails stores don't you think? I mean if it's as barren as you say and there's no market for it here, why would they take the risk?

i think stores still being open at a time like this is a good indicator there's still a healthy market in Japan while other countries are seeing stores being closed down left and right.

NK is crazy, there's good reason to be alarm. The only reason China and Russia even acknowledges them is because they can agitate U.S., Japan, and S. Korea.

likeitis, good luck at getting NK to agree to payment if there's an acident or getting detailed info beforehand about their launch. I'm sure they are more than willing to help out.

well, there's a reason to over react, NK isn't exactly the most trustworthy. There's a big difference isn't there?
