I just cannot grasp what Hashimoto is drivng at. Is he against Japan, SKorea, USA to name a few/ This guy is an activist and trying to de-estabilized peace in Japan and among nations. With his antics and media inputs, he sound like making inciting rebellion convincing that every country bad during the war. Anyway Hashimoto San, as your announcement of doing the apologies for comfort women per se in all countries, during the war, DO IT ASAP. NO MORE TALKS. And by all means give support and compensation to those women who are still alive from your own pocket.

WTF.... during War, there will be always atrocities against women. Be Americans, Germans, Japanese, Italians, NKoreans, Communist Chinese, Russians and whoever. Men do not live by bread alone. They need sex. PERIOD.

This comfort women issue has been hanging for decades. Golly...why can't Jpn once and for all do something about this and apologies personally and acknowledged them. I guess that's all comfort women asked before they pass away. We and Jpn knows some women if not all were coerced against their will as comfort women. I admired Japanese way of courtesy during my 21 years of stay in Japan. It is time for PM Abe to prove me wrong. I have heard sooo many bad news in the Philippines from the elderlies about how the Japanese Imperial Army coerced and forced filipino women into sex slaves. Some elderlies even said they were Koreans, the lowest among the ranks of Japanese Imperial army in the Philippines were the most brutal and cruel. This I wonder why they know they were Koreans and serving the Japanese army.

Abe's "military response" is simply to hide behind the US. And that's what USA have been wanting Japan to do... that's why until now there is not action by USA. hehehehe

It's about time Japan has to change their constitution made by the Americans. Japan had learned and I am sure going to war is not their agenda now. Japan invasion of China and Korea then was just initiated by one of their war freak emperor during that era. Give back Japan the right to fight back when attack. Stop relying on USA military force. It's plain business for USA. ;)

Aids or no aids, sanctions or no sanctions... communist countries will help their own comrades. "All goods are equally shared by the people." in communism? Is that true? Btw, this asia's problem has been tolerated by an outside force. Who? Your guess is as good as mine.

One here would understand and feel when your own kid committed suicide due to bullying. Facts were written by JT that proves bullying done. Speculations and whatever posted here won't bring back the dead kid back.

I agree with you Mr. Jack Stern. Too many "gaijins" here being sarcastic and making fun of some situations. Yes, it's one way to save her face and people related to her. One culture I admire from Japanese if they commit things that will degrade their image. That culture is diminishing though.

This is just plain drama. Someone is behind this BS in the business of selling armaments. Your guess is as good as mine. And you know who they are.

During the 1970s. a dollar was trading to a ¥365 and went down to almost ¥77. Now it's almost ¥100 to a dollar and United States of A is complaining. In the first first place, the strong yen was USA own making... hehehehe. Why tackle Japan and SK. Tackle China who doesn't even listen to you a bit.

My hypothesis about these threats: All brave men like this neophyte leader of NK, communist or non, are scared of dying especially with Nuke. No one wants to start WWIII because its doomsday to all. Now what are these scary tactics all about? Simple... protect and defend by means of missile interceptors and war armaments. Where do you buy it? Whose business is war? Armaments and so forth. Your answer is as good as mine. Asia is booming while US and Europe are not, not to mention the timing of all this islands ownership disputes and threats. Is someone behind all of this? Is someone sleeping with the enemy just for plain business? hehehehe, Careful... big brother works mysteriously... :)

Donations is the gesture of helping others in need no matter how much a country or a person give. It's not a competition who tops and gave the most. This kind of news report should not even be posted. It just incite ill feeling and bad sentiments. I just wonder why JT enjoys posting this kind of news than can be read by anyone on this planet to think South Korea did not helped. To JT... why not list all the countries that donated and change your header to Countries that donated to Japan instead of top 20 countries. This type of header only incite hate and rebellion.

A dog that barks very loud won't bite than a dog who is quite and just observed and attack. This is just a plain wargames business. Threat and scare. Perpetrated by a hidden force with a hidden business agenda. IMHO no stupid country will start a nuclear war cuz they know it's the end and doomsday for everyone.
