32 year old mom 3 year old son

29 when she got pregnant. Hmm.

I wonder if you took a graph, charting the ages of conception of all these nutter moms that kill their kids. I suspect there would be a peak close to the age of 30.

Meaning that some of these nutter women had kids for all the wrong reasons, only to find they couldn't cope.

The Nobel committee, much the Olympic committee, will do anything to make itself feel important. So they jumped on the Obama bandwagon while it was hot. Make no mistake, they are an organization just like others whose prime directive is to increase it's power and relevance. Only several years of history will tell who the real peacemakers are.

There are several that believe the creation of Atomic weapons brought more peace to the world than any politician could hope to.

Anybody that SELLS anything is under no obligation to provide any kind of service whatsoever. You give them money, they give you product. You don't like it, go someplace else. They provide enough DECENT service, they'll stay in business. They don't, they won't.

Of course, whenever you build a society under the model of the government is the mommy and the daddy, and the people are the kids, who are dependent on the wisdom of the government, people tend to only know how to complain like children. Put the whole of the problem on the provider, and demand they "give" you exactly what you want. Just like the kids do in kindergarten.

That goofball that was complaining his dish wasn't available should be forced to visit the Soup Nazi.

NO SOUP FOR YOU! GET OUT!

I'm also reminded of that scene from "Fast Times From Ridgemont High"

"It says that If I'm not a hundred percent satisfied, I get a refund!"

"If you don't shut up, I'm gonna kick a hundred percent of your a$$!"

Poor kids. I wonder why selfishness prevails here?

As horrible as it sounds, I get the impression that a lot of ladies here see their kids as means to a personal end, be it from social acceptance or keeping a husband around, rather than an end in themselves. When an object fails to fulfill it's objective, it's easy to dispose of it.

Girls grow up here with one goal continuously hammered into them from all aspects of society:

Find a husband and have kids.

When they spend their whole lives aiming and dreaming for that goal, and their lives are still miserable after achieving it, there's not much to do except check out. It's a fairly socially acceptable solution. shoganai.

    True Story:

My father was in WWII in the pacific. Got a medal for shooting down a zero. Had many friends killed while standing right next to him. When he finally had the courage to visit pearl harbor and face his demons, he was disgusted with all the Japanese tourists taking pictures of themselves at the memorial as if they were at Disneyland.

A few years later, I visited Japan for the first time. I wanted to snap a photo of myself in front of The Dome at the peace park, with the stereotypical Japanese photo-peace sign,to give to my dad. I was worried that people would be angry if they saw me doing that. Until I saw Japanese tourists standing in front of the dome taking pictures of each other as if they were at Disneyland.

    Go figure.

...But it seems like we just never solve anything...

I believe it was Plato who said it best:

Only the dead know the end of war.

Their gonna need a bunch more soldiers in Afghanistan soon, doesn't that count as job creation?

Obama's whole exit plan is contingent on the Afghans stepping up and taking care of things by next year. Not likely to happen.

He very well could have been persuaded by the Military-Industrial/Pax Americana/behind the scenes power brokers. They stand to make a lot of money if the U.S. stays involved in a quagmire for a while. The more the merrier.

This military strategy is breaking several rules of Sun Tzu's Art Of War, and will not likely succeed if a clear victory is indeed the objective. It might not be.

Everybody wants to feel important. If any of these "scientists" were worth their salt, they'd be working as scientists in industry or military, and not propaganda pushers for socialist governments. But they aren't so they're trying their hardest to make themselves feel relevant, and the socialist governments are exploiting that effort.

There is absolutely no chance of thinking that you can charge for any news. Anybody gets a scoop, they'll publish it. For free. For most website owners, they'd much rather get the traffic than charge people to view their site. Murdoch is trying to fit an old model to a new technology. He can try all he wants, but people ain't ever paying to read news online.

as far as free press goes, that's what bloggers are for. Many big news stories broke on small time sites like the smoking gun and others.

Murdoch is clinging to a dying model. Good luck buddy.

I can't see how you can judge these girls from this small photo. Take any J-bird off the street, put her in the right outfit with the right makeup artist and the right hairdo, and she'll look just as tempting. put these girls in normal clothes without their professional make up jobs and you wouldn't likely give them a second glance.

Stupid selfish woman. She'd rather let her baby be defiled than do anything herself. Surely a woman could find quick cash by offering herself, for any number of different services for "quick cash."

I wonder how much she got. If this kid ever finds out what mommy did, it will mess up it's poor little.

I doubt the lost luggage story. You'd think a multi millionaire here to promote a film would take the time to get some new clothes before a photo shoot. He's just playing the public resentment against big capitalist JAL. Notice he is the one reporting that his luggage was lost, and by which airline, as there is nothing about any confirmation from the airline.

This picture is set up and fake. He's trying to look like a poor slob so he can make more money by garnering hate the rich.

I've said it before, and I will say it again for the newbies to Japan: abusing/killing children is not so serious a crime here - nowhere near as bad as killing an adult - especially a male adult/salaryman.

Joe salaryman is worth more to the ADD collective than two kids. One produces, the other consumes.

So long as nobody loses face, it's all good.

Nowhere in Japanese history did they have any sort of respect for human life. Only after western occupation did they pretend to, and continue to do so while it was economically convenient. With the harsh economic times ahead for Japan, crimes that expose their true feelings for human life will become more evident.
