    cubicle?

Where they in an office or a toilet?

Some guy got something in his eye, and he not only called the cops, but it made the papers?

    Wow.

Men look for cute women without brain, it is a fact

Not quite. Study after study has shown that for short term relationships, men indeed prefer brainless beauties. But for long term pair bonding, men prefer women with at least some kind of intellect. Although many times a guy will hook up for a brainless beauty for long term pair bonding, only to realize too late what a horrible mistake he's made.

Funny. One is referred to as an actress, while the other is referred to as a model, yet they are both "acting" in same drama.

As far as the plot goes, I think I'll pass. I watched the movie "Coco Chanel" last weekend, and it was the most boring movie I've ever had the pain of sitting through.

These guys tortured him for an hour, and then dragged him (likely crying) to throw him in the water. He was picked up by the cops only because his parents reported him missing.

Every adult that saw any of this happening and didn't intervene should go to prison.

That being aside, that he was able to survive this and climb out of the water will likely make him a tough little mofo when he grows up.

I hope he gets payback someday.

I read last night on another news source that Chicago was in the lead, with Rio a close second. My vote goes to Rio.

All this stress, bleak future, parents always on kids to get better grades, shame thrown every which way, and toss into the mix these tiny apartments with thin walls where everybody is supposed to co-exist together in harmony.

    Recipe for disaster.

The thing about pent up rage is that when you let it loose, it gets control over you and you do things you normally wouldn't have thought possible.

Looks more like he was planning this for a while

He didn't plan well enough. He should have figured out a way to get, and hang on to the kids passports. He certainly didn't plan their abduction very well either. It's almost as if he wanted to get caught to create such a big international fiasco.

Had he really planned, he could have come back to Japan, got in good with the wife, stayed for a few months, convinced her he was staying for the kids, then quietly taken them, knowing full well she could have never come after them.

Instead, he snatched them off the street. He could have at least convinced them to have lunch with him or something, and then quietly gone to the U.S. consul to sort things out.

Two years old is not old enough to be aware of trains and stuff. As cold as it sounds, the fault lies with the parents for not keeping track of the kid. Although that can be almost impossible when you live so close to the tracks. Tough situation.

    understanding the details behind it.”

I'll tell you exactly what was behind it. Kid had fears, pain, anxiety, emotional trauma, and NOBODY he could turn to (teachers, PARENTS) who would do anything other than say "Ganbare!"

If this kid could talk to his mom and dad about his problems, this wouldn't have happened.

I can understand lonely, ALONE, people that kill themselves, but a kid in a good should NEVER feel alone.

Sounds cold, but SHAME ON THE PARENTS. It's your job to take care of your kids, not just hand them over to the machine called Japanese society and hope they turn out ok.

    NEWS FLASH:

All throughout history, when conquering armies took over cities, they usually raped and murdered to their hearts content.

From Alexander at Babylon to the Japanese at Nanking, war is about killing people. Combatants, noncombatants, women, babies. Even in the old testament, God herself told the Israelites to not spare a single life after razing a city.

The only thing different in the last two generations is there is a record of it, and you can watch pictures on youtube.

The whole of western civilization rests on the utter defeat and brutal murder of all her enemies, just as the Japanese did to the Chinese at Nanking.

The way it generally works is that the losers whine, and the winners conveniently forget the atrocities.

Don't you think the indiscriminate bombing of most of Japan (which killed just as many) would be considered war crimes if the allies had lost?

    War means killing.

    No one is innocent.

After the strong condemnations from the U.S. and its allies, Iran said Saturday it will allow U.N. nuclear inspectors to examine the site.

Most important piece of information hidden inside this article. If this is true, than all this missile launching is just posturing. Iran is no Iraq, and despite the recent election fiasco's their government has strong popular support. Going to war with Iran would be absolutely disastrous. It would not be won quickly, or easily, and would cause untold casualties on both sides. The only people that would benefit would be the military industrial complex (the same dudes that conned bush into going into Iraq) and perhaps the U.S. economy.

If the U.S. does lead an invasion of Iran, it shows just how powerful the Industrial Military complex is. They don't care who is president, democrat or republican. they still pull the strings, along with the wall street bankers.

    YES WE CAN.

Ok, this creepy. There was another case where somebody killed somebody, and when they called the cops they said "The body is getting cold." Is this just some bizaare coincidence? Was the coldness of the body they just killed the only thing from reality that seeped into their dysfunction brain that alerted them something wasn't quite right?

guy must've had some serious pent up rage, combined with some serious mommy issues to both be angry enough to kill her, but only man enough to do it while the poor 84 y/o woman was sleeping. I hope she didn't feel any pain.

Quick qualification for Potential Murderous Nutters:

    Are you employed? No.

Do you Live with mommy? Yes.

    Are you over 40? Yes.

    sound the nutter siren.

I can see somebody getting one or two tats, no biggie. I've seen many of them in Japan. (Personally I don't think I'd ever get one) But to get your whole body tattoed? I guess that's one way for an average looking J-girl to strut around in a t-back and get all kinds of fawning attention.

Moore is a whiny liberal who loves to make money complaining about the system. So what. I haven't seen any of his movies, and I certainly won't see this one. I've seen him on a few shows, and he breaks down into illogical personal attacks whenever somebody presents a halfway decent argument against any of his positions. I don't particularly his views, opinions, or his films, but I respect his capitalism skills that he uses over and over to make tons of cash, selling his whiny liberal views to other whiny liberals.

He is the epitome of a successful capitalist. Find a market, develop a product for that specific market, and get rich.

Unbelievable. Some guy staggers into a izakaya, holding a knife, and asks for the owner. Seeming a show he was fixing to kill the poor dude, he likely had a unsettled look about him. Of course, the helpful staff at the izakaya, upon seeing a crazy drunk wander in with a knife, go and get the boss, likely not warning him that the guy that wanted to see him was some drunk nutter with a knife. Alhtough its good to hear that the patrons jumped the guy and tried to get the knife away, albeit a little bit too late. Condolences to the family.
