Not only that, but how in the world did they know to match it to her, and what was the other source of the DNA they matched it to? Is it standard procedure when someone has gone missing to raid their apartment for DNA samples?

Jeez, that's horrible. Not only did this poor guy die in apparent agony, but his last days were probably spent in fear and terror as well. Although, I wonder if they actually intended to kill him.
Was he alive when they found him, and died at the hospital, or was he dead when the passerby saw him?

Seat belts would have saved everybody. Why can they not understand this?
I remember going to traffic school many years ago (to avoid a ding on my insurance)and they drilled it into us how much seat belts can help, even in the most horrific accidents.
Yea, they're inconvenient, but not as inconvenient as being dead.

I guarantee you if they put a cut out of some ugly looking foreigner that said "thanks for you cash!" people would think twice about making bank transfers.

So what if Tuna disappears. People will find something else to eat. It's human nature to use up all the resources, and then move on. Maybe with no more tuna to eat, Japanese will eat more American beef.

Sorry Japan, but if you expect to manufacture and sell first class products, and continually beg for a permanent seat on the UN security council, and fire your chief of tourism for not hitting your tourist quota's, you gotta expect some scrutiny and judgment for things that aren't accepted in other G7 (G8?) Countries.
You can't expect to be a first world country on one hand, but get angry when people question your 500 year old "culture" on the other.
Right or wrong, that's just the way it is. And if they put up "no foreigner" signs on fishing villages, that too will receive international disdain.

I just saw this face on some big flag type banner at a gas station today. I had to a double take to make sure it was him. Must be getting paid a heap of cash for a simple photo.
Looking forward to shutter island, though. Trailers look good.

Everybody involved in this story is guilty.
Kid - not tucking in your shirt when teacher asks.
Teacher - flying off the handle and getting violent
Mother - only comes forward when another parent calls
BofE - Let's hold a meeting to figure out what to do? WTF?
Father - DUDE, where the hell are you?
Principal - Lying and trying to cover up his cover up
Japanese Society - - - FAIL

But when it comes to alcohol, some people just have a one track mind...
