Yeah, cuz the people of Okinawa sure are mature..more like babies. Sorry don't see the connection here.

France did have it easy during the occupation, more thanks to its size and quick surrender than anything else. I guess most people didn't have a chance to see the hundreds of miles barbed wires, bunkers, and artillery lining their long coastline. Or the executions, or the planned bombing of every landmark including the Eiffel Tower (which were saved only by the disobedience of Nazi officers under penalty of death ironically). Yeah, I guess everything was fine and peachy for people who kept a low profile and supported the Nazis.

Well it just goes to show you that fuel surcharges are anything but. They might as well as label them "extra profit charge".

The gaurantor system is way out of hand in Japan, but it's certainly not the only country that has it. Even in the USA you need a gaurantor to rent an apartment, get a mortgage, or have a credit card, until you build up your credit history. People don't realize this because as a student your parents will cosign (which is exactly what a gaurantor is), and right out of college you probably already have a credit history.

The only difference is in Japan you need it to have a job and everybody is treated as having no credit history for this purpose. That's hysterical.

Well it was a shotgun wedding from the start, so the 2 years was really just a trial period to see if it would work for the sake of the child. Honestly that alone makes her a better mother than a lot of people lol.

Wow if that's what guys actually said then they're pretty clueless. Talk about introspects who can't see someone else's viewpoint or realize the obvious about their own society.

I don't see why Kyoto needs an aquarium when it would take away from its biggest assets. But Kyoto sure does need a big train station no matter how ugly. Apples and oranges here.

Hahahaha Angle talking about a “militant terrorist situation”. Should look left, right, and in the mirror at his tea party buddies.

"..Court also ordered him to pay 400,000 riel ($95) in compensation to the girl’s family"

Wait, this part makes absolutely no sense. Shouldn't they be in jail too? The court is basically paying for prostitution again.

This article can be summed up as: OMG America, stop being so inflexible and offer me breakfast at 10:31 please. Because you know, McDonald's. And another thing, you better give me twice the beer as all your other customers. Giving one customer more beer than every other customer is good service where I come from. Everyone deserves to be better - oh wait does not compute I am an American.

It's called McDonalds. Ask them for breakfast at 10:31, or to charge you for a combo meal but don't hand you a drink (it's more expensive not to get a drink, and they will charge you unless you take it).

Japan is actually the same as most of Europe. In many countries in Europe, they literally have a line on their beer glasses and they're sure as hell not going to fill you over it. Why would they give you free drink just because you saved the the cost of frozen water. It's not just Japan, and you're not even making sense here when you're talking about beer. You're talking like an American. Getting more for your money isn't some kind of a right.

In the US sure they'll bend the rules for the loudest customer, which actually means even more people are getting screwed than in Japan. But I know you can't wrap your head around that thought.

Pachinko parlors give away special RFID cards as "prizes", which you can then take to a pachinko exchange center to sell for cash. It's a loophole to let them skirt the law.

You know, kind of like buying presents for whores instead of paying them cash.

It's kind of sad that Afghanistan is so landlocked and doesn't have a single mile of active rail. Oh, and that it's surrounded by terrorists and criminals with guns doesn't help.

Hopefully someday everything will be fought with drones cuz it sure isn't fun going there.

This is a good move, as a bulk offering it's cost effective even if it's simply included in the cost of the car.

"The door to the roof was locked but the three boys apparently found another point of access, police said." This kind of thing has happened every day, for thousands of years. It's pretty much genetic in cats and humans. Accidents happen.

I'm surprised Calderon has such little grasp of the situation. It's not America that wants to legalize pot, it's California and a minority of the rest of the states. Please, just wrap your head around that for a bit and come back before yapping your mouth.

"Sharron Angle believes American cities have been taken over by militant terrorist organizations" That's funny, I could swear she was referring to the Tea Party until I read further. What a bunch of morons.
